I think we just need to be a bit more direct in the second half, instead of trying to walk it past the back 4.
 
Park and Scholes have been a bit woeful.

Park especially. He's in the right place at the right time, but does feck all with the ball.
 
Diouf and Giggs for Scholes and Park who have both been extremely nothingy.

i agree if the game was being played end to end but it hasn't been much of a factor in this game since we've been in their third the whole match.

Have to say I agree. Park is outstanding in games agains the big sides when we are looking for a worker down the flank. But against Brum we just need to get at them and this renders Park useless

Well, I hope I can 'feck off' at FT but I doubt I will be. I didn't say we haven't played well, I just don't think we can create enough with this system and Rooney up front on his own.

Lose this one and we really are in crisis. The title will be gone, regardless of points difference. We are becoming a toothless joke. Perhaps pogue will have to reassess his injured defenders excuse.
 
Scholes and Park off - Giggs and Owen on, if we're going to have any chance of scoring. Change into a 4-2-2 Fergie. And Get Mame on at 75 mins if nothing works out until then.

We've been gash in the final third again today ... we have to shoot from distance a bit more .. almost Arsenal like these days in wanting to score the perfect goal. Also, got to give credit for their closing down .. immense.

Fergie has messed around a lot with 4-3-3 in recent years. Whenever has it lead to a United goal fest? It usually looks exactly like today, lots of ball but no edge in final third...
 
we're keeping possession well but the final ball is same as recently

now with that goal against the run of play we're in a situation painfully familiar from this season

please god let us turn a game again :(
 
Don't see how Park has been awful... though he did alright. Linked up pretty well with Evra and Rooney.

We did pretty well given the circumstances and our current form. Didn't really create clear cut chances, but spent a lot of time in their box. If we do more of the same in the second half, we should at least get one goal.

Their goal was scrappy, but we could've defended better. Also, the cross was pretty close to goal, I though PIG could've come out and taken charge... but then he is PIG.

Carrick make a pass to hit Evra in his stride ffs.

And my god can we get some threat on the corners and freekicks.

I don't mean to be pedantic about the Mario Kart comment, but i thought it was the red shell that was the ultimate bitch.
 
Was shocked to see Park starting in the first place, it's not as if we really need his covering ability against what is a fairly impotent brum offense. Well...hope he is off soon, he has been poor and really is not useful for us now that we are chasing the game, hope someone with a bit more edge in the final third comes on asap

Let's play one striker against a team who are going to park the bus.
