Manchester United v Manchester City

It's clear guys. Modern day footballers are extremely physically fit people. Playing two important games in the space of five days shouldn't bother too many of them at all. We'll see similar teams for both games, plus bare in mind we have a week's rest after the Arsenal match until our next fixture.

For me:
vs City: van der Sar, Rafael, Ferdinand, Brown, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Fletcher, Giggs, Rooney, Berbatov.

vs Arsenal: van der Sar, Neville/Rafael, Ferdinand, Brown/Evans, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Fletcher, Giggs, Rooney, Berbatov/Anderson.

With the Arsenal game in mind, some players like Giggs or Scholes will only play in either one.

vs. City

Agreed, I'd play Brown to allow us to have a solid 3 at the back when Evra roams forward. Also rests Rafael ready for Arsenal.

Supposedly Toure is back from ANC (said tongue in cheek : After Elephants threw the match so Dogbreath and Co could get back to their pay masters).

Also, Adebayor supposedly would be available for the bench.

Lets pick up where we left off at the Eastlands and smash these fools!

I'm not one to advocate a 442 all the time, but this game is perfect for it. We need to test their dodgy defence and both Rooney and Berbatov should start. My only worry is if Neville gets a game. I don't fancy his chances against either Bellamy or SWP. Rather see Brown as RB, Rio and Evans in the middle and everpresent Evra on the left.
 
anyone watching this game in los angeles. tryin to find a good place to go. its 12 in the afternoon kick off so perfect way to spend the day over a few beers. providing I find a decent boozer. any suggestions?

I.m on row three of the lower north stand (tonight), just hope Tevez and Belendamy get a couple of throw ins.

Haven't been this nervous since the CL final last year so here's hoping this gives us a better result.....

I expect him and Adebayor on the bench but they may throw both into the deepend.

Could they make wholesale changes from the game against The Iron?

Is De Jong injured?

Does anyone have any idea if Match Of The Day at 22:55 will show highlights or are they just showing Premier League highlights tonight?

it will not be shown on tv.i checked starhub and they said they did not get the rights.
