Arsenal vs. Manchester United

If we spend 30m on ONE player in our financial state he'd better start in the big games. Try to think of 'big' games Berbatov started for us... do you any? I really can't remember.
Park's inclusion is a fecking joke considering Valencia has as much work rate as him and is the far superior footballer. And if this opinion makes me an 'absolute fecking Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime', so be it.

Liverpool away, twice (2x losses)

Arsenal away (loss)

Chelsea home (win)

OK,

Enough of this moaning and I admit I'm probably one of the moaners.

But for now,

C'MON UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND

C'MON PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND

errrrr...that's it I think.

OH NO, WAIT,

feck ARSENAL

It makes me laugh really, the people that moan at Park playing a big game get called spastics etc but they at least have reasons for not wanting park to play. However, ask someone whos doing all the name calling what Park brings to the team as a left winger in an attacking sense and they suddenly go all quiet.

Who's the spastics again?

It doesn't make you an "absolute fecking Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime". It does imply that you're unable to distinguish left from right, as neither Valencia nor Nani are natural left wingers and neither have ever really impressed there. Giggs can't really play two full games in a week anymore, so who would you play on the left?

All you feckers who are moaning, I've got to go to my shitty minimum wage job now, as all of my department have been called in , and there was no chance of me getting it off. I'm well pissed off, at least you watch the game.

You sit here criticising Man United players like Park who never fail to give 110% and have had some great great games v Arsenal. feck off. Fergie knows 10 times more about the team how fit they are, how they've been doing in training and how United will play. Park at times has been great this season. Stop criticising!

He would play Nani on the left and Valencia on the right.

Am I right or am I right?

Dooooom...

Glad I logged on for a quick look before going out. :)

The way you play arsenal is to get at them, deny them any space and time on the ball. I think Fletch and Park will do that all game long.

We can't help Rio or Vidic, so we need to move on. Wesley and Evans are more than capable. Rafael can hold his own as long as they're not bigger than an average eight year old.... and we've got Rooney.

Sorted :wenger:

So we bought Berba for handy home games vs Hull?

I see what you are saying and I am actually happy we are 4-5-1 today.

But He does seem to be benched for the vast majority of big games

Well this is an endless debate because I for one think this season he has been unlucky that way because most of the season we have been trying to shield our underwhelming defence and in that case Fergie is forced to play just one uptop wherein rooney rightfully gets the nod above all others.

Read above.
Oh right right and how many games has valencia played on the left till now, better yet how many games has Nani performed in out on the left and also the fact he's in his best form in his last 2 seasons here.

I dont know if that makes you a fecking Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime or not but it sure as hell is evident why you are sitting here posting and why SAF is managing united.

Whoever is playing, we should still get behind the team. The will be up for it and know that our season could rest on whether or not we win this game.

Van der Sar
Park Brown Evans Evra
Fletcher Carrick Scholes Rafael
Nani Rooney

fixed!

Did you miss Park's performance the last time we played at the Emirates?

Park played left wing in our best attacking performance of the season so far, against Wigan at OT. So it's obvious he brings something to the team going forwards.

He also scored against the same opposition last season.

I'm not against Park at all, but that Wigan argument is a bit weak Pogue...

Quite, quite wrong. Look at Nani's performances on the left this season as opposed to on the right and you tell me where you'd play him?

I would play him on the right, I was just guessing what the other guy imagined. I don't think the lineup is that bad, I'm quite excited.

Yeah you have to feel for Valencia. The lads done nothing wrong.

I don't feel for him as I'm pretty sure SAF laid the season out for him when he signed: first half of season, a long healthy run of games to get him acclimated to the team; second half of season, rotation like everyone else not named Rooney or Evra.

TBF Ronaldo made that goal. And if Almunia doesn't come out then 9.9 times out of 10 Park flubs the finish. But we can hope.

Interesting fact: This is Nani's 3rd start in a row, the first time in two years.

Also, anyone watching Sky Sports, did you see that picture of Wenger and SAF wearing 3D glasses?

You're entitled to your opinon. The reason why it is so frustrating is that it is in the matchday thread BEFORE the match has started. Its painful to read you idiots complaining about the team before the match when you're supposed to be hoping well for the team.

Fergies tactics have been worryingly negative this season.

You answered your own question there.

Defensively Pogue.

He brings sod all going forward. Yes, yes he managed a goal, but come on 1) It was because Gibbs fecked up 2) Anyone would have scored that.

I'm still waiting (as usual) for someone to actually say what Park brings to the team in an attacking sense.

You could say that pretty much about every RedCafe User. But it's a discussion forum, eh? If you're not allowed to voice your opinion on certain players without being told to have less clue of the game than the most successful football manager ever, there is no point in discussing at all. Anyway, I'm off watching the game.

Everyone has opinions. How should people react?
