Welbeck, Well Happy

Preston North End striker Danny Welbeck played a big part in both North End goals and he was delighted with the three points from the Sheffield United victory.
Welbeck set up his fellow Manchester United loanee Matt James for the first goal and was sent tumbling in the box in the second half for Preston's crucial penalty winner and he was happy with his contribution to the game.
"It's not all about getting the goals just for myself, I'd rather the team win as we did tonight," Welbeck said after the match.
"It was good to get back to winning ways, to get the three points and put in a performance like that, it's what we were all looking for and now we are just looking forward to the next game.
"I think the start we made gave us the momentum throughout the game. When they got the goal near the end the last ten minutes was a bit of a struggle but we all held out and we battled to our best.
"I'm just looking forward to working hard, getting games under my belt and playing football."
The Manchester United starlet paid tribute to the Club's management and coaching staff and revealed that he is getting a double dose of Ferguson advice with Ferguson Snr and Jnr both giving him pointers as to what he is doing right and wrong during matches.
He said: "Darren's a good manager and we've got good coaches behind us and we are just getting together and gelling as a team and working well with the coaches - it looks like it paid off tonight.
"Darren's turning me into a more penetrative player, I'm looking in behind a lot more than I did at Manchester United, at United it was a bit more tippy-tappy football, coming in and dropping off and everything but at Preston I am a lot more effective going in behind and that's what's been drilled into my head.
"I've spoken to my other Gaffer after the games and we just talk about with reference to what I need to improve on and what I did well, it's good to get feedback from everyone."
Welbeck made a key contribution in setting Matt James up for his 10th minute opener and he admitted that he's looking forward to continuing a partnership which has already been developing for several years.
"I have played with him since I was 12. He is a quality player, you can give him the ball in any situation and he will get out of it most of the time. He's got great feet, he's confident on the ball and because I have played with him since I was 12 and we still play together now we both know each other's game.
"He knows how to find me and when he turns I know where to run and he knows where I am going. Hopefully we will be playing well together. I spoke to him about the club and I told him that it is a great club to come to, it's got great fans and I told him that he would enjoy himself here.
"I think that goal will boost his confidence, he looked comfortable throughout the whole game so I am really happy for him. I set him up for one so he has got to set me up now, I am just waiting for him to return to the favour."
With three points in the bag, Welbeck and his PNE team-mates can now look ahead to Saturday's big derby against Blackpool, it's a game Danny is really aiming to get his teeth into it.
"A derby is a derby and I love derby games," he said.
"We've got our heads up high now and hopefully we can go into that one and pull a result out. Every derby is massive for every team at every club, for the fans for the town and everyone connected with the club, so I am looking forward to it."
