That was one of the worst halves of football we have played this season, surely it cant just be because Rooney is not on the pitch, but we don`t look like scoring !

Really disappointed with what we've produced there. Nani has been very poor. Berbatov is having a decent game, but we don't look a real threat with only him up front.

Poor first half. Getting caught on the ball, anticipating a foul too often. Gibson is doing his best to bring attacks to a grinding stop. Nobody's been great though.

It took almost 10 min to get Valencia involved.

Gibson need to focus. Nani needs to lift his head. Scholes needs to move closer to goal. Send Gibson back

West Ham have that honour. They were blooming hopeless a few weeks back. My dog could have outplayed them. Wolves have looked decent going forward.

Dissappointed with the use of the ball by our central midfielders. Gibson and Scholes havent impressed although Carrick was only a notch or two above. Wolves have had less of the ball but their midfielders are finding their attacking players in better areas to hurt us. Their midfield is working for them better than ours is for us.

Dreadful first half , hopefully Fergie will put a rocket up them and they will be better in the second half , there was no passion and to be honest not much desire to get forward that much.

We've been pretty good defensively, apart from their one chance, but fighting for scraps going forward. Carrick epitomises that; can't find a teammate going forward but made a superb block at the back.

drops way to fecking deep, esp as a lone striker. hasn't had a stinker, but certainly not 30 million pound performance out there.
Lets just take the risk and put Diouf on. The one thing he has up front is pace.....As ferguson said, and I know its obvious, but the Arse winning this really is a must win game considering their run in.
the only thing gibson posseses is a half decent powerful shot. His play in general is average at best. Waste of a player in there at the moment
Midfield needs more mobility. As of now, berba has to go back himself to dig the ball up. Scholes due to his age cant do that and carrick and gibson were never mobile enough.
Central midfield has been beyond shit. Nani is back to his old self atm. Berbatov isolated and keeps drifting away from the box. Valencia has been ok but invisible. Brown can't cross. Bring on Diouf instead of Gibson so we have someone that attacks the ball in the box. Maybe Fletch should replace Scholes or Carrick so we get someone that can run in central midfield.

I'm not for a moment suggesting he's playing as well as Valencia, who is probably our second best performer this season, but the 'he has no footballing brain' criticism isn't accurate for my money. I've given Nani plenty of stick over his time when deserved, and he's having a howler, but let's keep criticism realistic.

Thanks to Van der Sar for keeping our clean sheet. In the second half we need to start doing the basics right before attempting the difficult stuff. If we raise our game im sure we will get a breakthrough.
