I think we'll see Hargreaves make an appearance if we're winning comfortably.

I don't think Hargo is quite ready to start a game, I should think it will be this team but Scholes instead of Hargreaves. Easily good enough to beat Stoke but unfortunately not good enough to win the league.

My wishful thinking - it will be Scholes to start but, I just felt I had to put Hargreaves as a starter.

2 clean sheets in their last 2 games :nervous:

If Rooney up front alone:

Van der Sar

Rafael
Rio (if fit)/Evans
Vidic
Evra

Valencia
Fletcher
Scholes
Giggs
Nani

Rooney

If two up front, then midfield and attack:

Valencia
Fletcher
Scholes
Nani

Rooney
Macheda

lets get 10
7 for berbs, 3 for wayne

setting a new record will at least take some of the shine off of the renties (should they win of course)

At least one person realises that Valencia is injured.

Owen H right wing I say :)

I havent seen anything confirming he's out and he's not listed on Physioroom.com as being injured either.

Neither OH4 or Valencia in training pics.

So I'll change my lineup to (grudgingly).

VDS
Rafael, Evans, Vidic, Evra
Nani, Fletcher, Scholes, Park
Berbatov, Rooney.

manutd.com: The boss doesn't really have any injury concerns for the Stoke game, although Antonio Valencia won't be available on Sunday after picking up an ankle injury against Spurs.

Neither OH4 or Valencia in training pics.
So all goalies are injured too?

So all goalies are injured too?

Sure - That's why O'Shea is starting in goal.

Anyway-seen the presser and Valencia been sent on holiday, no mention of OH4 so maybe he still has a chance this weekend.

Let's give our fans something to celebrate on the last day, regardless the result in London.

even if we don't win the title, I want rooney to score and beat drogba to the golden boots.

Only 2 pages on a matchday thread the night before the game. That's unheard of on here!

I nearly forgot we were playing tomorrow. That's how little coverage/talk there has been about the games tomorrow - considering we are one point behind the leaders with a game to go. Hopefully if we can bang in some early goals, the news will get to the rentboys. Imagine if we were 4-0 up at H/T and they were 0-0. Pressure is all on them! Don't want to get anyones hopes up unnecessarily, but stranger things have happened!

The media are treating this game as irrelevant and I am fairly calm about it, I just want to see a good performance and a few goals, that's the best we can hope for realistically out of tomorrow.

Precisely what I want. Just go out and play your games. Couple of goals for Rooney and Berbatov would make me really happy.

Well the outcome of this game is not independent for the ultimate goal. I actually just realized that I had no intentions of watching it at all, but rather will be watching Chelsea's game.
Something is wrong with me.

How many does Rooney need to score to have a chance for the Golden Boot?

he is tied with drogba on 26 currently, hopefully he can find his scoring touch against stoke later.

Hope to see some youngsters involved at some stage.

I wish I could get away from what's happening at the Chelsea game. However this will be impossible with Skysports flashing up their 'table as it stands' every 5 minutes

I just want to watch us, not be offered false hope from Wigan.

It's not on telly anyway is it?
