Celtic v Manchester United - Pre-Season Tour

Diouf celebrates Thierry Henry's arrival in the US.

HT

Scholes long rangers have been immaculate
Giggs has still got it
Fabio great on the ball, needs to watch the fouls,
Smallings distribution has been good
Good movement from Obertan, needs a bit more composure at times
Berba goal well taken
Diouf needs his chance

Good half. The gulf in class between the 2 sides is canyon-esque.

Scholes and Giggs....

for those watching in the states i have a question how old is fabio? FFS this announcer told us like 5 times as well as what minute it was every minute. He must have went to the jp delecamera school of football announcing

Lovely to watch, impressed with all the young lads especially Smalling and Obertan. I also kind of like that Giggs and Scholes are so important to the team, sort of how AC used to rely on their dinosaurs for wisdom and experience.

don't know the possession stats, but we are totally dominating the match.

Smalling,Scholes, Giggs, The twins, Berbatove, Dioff, Obertan, Fletcher all very impressive.

Heck did I leave out Evans and VDS?

great performance so far.

Scholes has still got it.
Obertan is fast, but seems off balance a lot.
Berba is skillful, good finish too.
Smalling hasn't been tested yet.
Diouf has barely been involved bar the assist.

Oh and Fletcher, he's good too, winning the ball countless times and giving it to Scholes to pull off another wonderpass.

i got one quick glimpse. purple's not bad. is there something shit i didn't notice?

The design on the sleeves/shoulders, basically. It's a purple version of this beauty.

Berba scored that goal

He's improving! Celtic must be hating him  3 goals in 1.5 Halves now against them

feck the WC, give me a United friendly any day of the week.
So good to watch the lads again.

As good as Scholes long range passing has been, he did give the ball away more in that first half more than he usually would in a couple of matches. The threaded ones weren't quite coming off - though I suppose he takes more of these risky passes on in friendlies. Still, great match from him so far
