Kansas City Wizards v Manchester United- Pre-Season Tour

Beautiful cross by Welbeck. How the feck do you get Cleverley and Welbeck mixed up by the way?

we all understand that mate. but if these guys are taking an age to get fit and sharp what are those lads doing sitting on their bum. players at this level should be able to conjur up a few passes together. thats whats dissapointing to me

Of course, I just don't like United losing.

I understand your frustration.. but I just think Fergie is working under severe restrictions and personally I can't be arsed whingeing about it. Lets just wish them the best and not expect too much.. a team thats relying on two late into their thirties players is hardly a team that is awash with serious upcoming talent or possesses the budget to sign the four world class players that some on here are calling out for.

Welbeck has been good, he has a future at the club

Slept and just switched on. Watching the last 5 minutes and I'm thinking this has been a good nippy performance by United. I'm surprised reading the comments. Were we that dire in the first half?

I was about to say that Welbeck has looked alright since coming on but he drives to the byline and then twats it out for a throwin.

Wellbeck looks threatening playing from the left

Can someone give me a summary of whats happened so far? Forgot this was on.

We've been utter shite from the start. Forgot how to defend, conceded an early goal. Rafael made an Arsenal reject look like Messi. Giggs played a peachy ball to Berb, who was taken out by the last man. The referee forgot it was a friendly and sent the poor bastard off. Berbatov took a composed penalty and scored.

Kansas went up the other end, won a corner and scored with an unmarked header. We've spent the entire second half trying to break them down.

We've been shit from kickoff and against 10 men for the majority of the game.

Summary of the game: we have been horrible. Unspeakably so, in every area of the pitch. Positives: cleverley and welbeck have been lively since they came on, but so they fecking should against a league one side with ten men.

Like I said before, i'm sorta glad we're losing, because its an incentive for us to keep working hard, which is what we want during pre-season. With the opposition down to 10 men, we probably would've scored and just cruised the rest of the game.

If this refers to my earlier comment, it was of course attempting irony!

well its only a friendly designed to help the players get fit. nothing to worry about too much, esp as most of the 1st XI are not even playing.
