Airtricity League XI Vs Manchester United

First time in 8 years isn't it?

Beat Shelbourne 5-0.

Thats a lovely stadium.

Loving the fact I don't have to wait up all night for these like the other two :(

He came from Mexico,
To Rossobianchi,
Javier Hernandez,
Means everything to me,
He's bigger than Messi,
And Manchester City,
He is United,
And so we all sing,
Hernandez, Hernandez, Hernandez, Hernandez, Hernandez, Hernandez, Hernandez, Hernandezzzzzz

To the tune of:

I say we get this going on Wednesday! Who's with me?

I'm going to a play about the Beatles. You lot are queers.

Where's everyone sitting?

Anyone going to go see the reserves in Tallaght?

Ah c'mon lads....my missus wants to go. It's to keep her happy.

You lot still think I'm cool, don't you?

It's my missus' birthday on Wednesday you big gayer. Unwind yourself from that little finger.

Its a play about the Beatles Brophs.... what do you reckon?

A bloke told me that anyone who preferred his missus to football was probably, all things considered, actually gay. Well he actually said fishing, not ball, but anyway I think I understand it now.

o'sheas going to be the captain ;) according to Sir Alex anyway so we'll see where he plays. He did play midfield earlier in pre season so maybe that or we might rest rafael

Four World Cup players - Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick, Ji-sung Park and Nemanja Vidic - plus Antonio Valencia, on his way back from an ankle injury, will be in the squad for the match against Airtricity League XI at Dublin's new Aviva Stadium.

No Evra, implies that O'Shea might be leftback ... No Neville may suggest Rafael and/or Brown plays too.

One eye may be on the Community Sheild so I am thinking no Fletcher, no Nani, no Berbatov, possibly no Evans or Smalling.

Valencia, Unknown, Carrick, Park will have to the midfield 4.

SAF made a comment about playing Chicha in Houston because it would be great for the large Mexican population there for them to see him in our colours. Maybe the same for Gibbo, he certainly needs the games.

(Unless I mixed up where this game is and look like an ignoramus)

Watch out for Airtricity forward, Karl Sheppard. He is only 19, & could well be a premiership player of the future!

No, but had a trial with Everton, when he was 16, didnt' work out, he reckons he was too young then.

He wasn't on trial, he was in their youth team for a couple of years. He only came back to Ireland at the start of the 2010 season.
