Everton vs. Manchester United

Is rooney left out completedly, are we going to play berba alone upfront?

The story is that he didn't get off the team bus so might not be there. People are saying he could have stayed locally with family but it seems unlikely that he wouldn't travel with the team.

Berbatov, Hernandez, Owen and Macheda all got off the bus.

No Rooney on the coach at Goodison but our understanding is that he travelled separately.

If we lose this match and we look back at the end of the season losing the title by 2 points, I think we'll have every right to place some of the blame on Rooney, as we lost just so he could satisfy his needs.

Of course this is all a bit premature, seeing as it even isnt confirmed he wont play. Just saying...

If Rooney isn't there then it's Fergie's decision, not Wayne's. Rooney was fine for England during the week so can't see him not wanting to play.

thats loads of bollocks, our team should be strong to win matches even without rooney.

Andy Gray interview now at the ground and he never mentioned anything about Rooney not being there

He needs to play today. Because it is the worst possible place to go. Anything after today wont be as bad for him after all this

You cant blame Fergie for Rooney cheating on his wife, its his fault we're talking about this.

True, but that isnt the point. The point is, is that we're a much stronger team with Rooney in it, than without and he would've certainly played had he not been doing the dirty on his missus.

On BBC they just said he wasn't in the squad.

The MatchDay thread never fails to deliver an absolute idiot. It's like a correct science.

I can kind of see what the above are saying. Its shite that he misses out due to these issues. Its his tough shit, get on with it.

Let's leave the boy alone and let him deal with his personal matters at home

We have got a good enough squad to beat fecking Everton, and at least this match won't be all about Wayne Rooney and our players will be able to play football.
