I don't think it's about money. I think IF he wants to join City it will be because he feels they will be at the forefront of English football in the next few years.
Personally i think Coleen has something to do with this. I think after finding out about his antics with prostitutes etc it's more likely she wants to move away to another City/Country and have a fresh start.

We are United supporters, not Rooney supporters. The minute we lose sight of the fact it becomes clear it's all about celebrity. That's not what football should be about.
