Weekend Fixtures 20/21 November

congrats india.. indians celebrating tonight for the win.. pedersen should be given india nationality..

I most certainly am not celebrating any blackburn wins

Especially not next weekend!

Was it 05/06 or 06/07 he was in really good form? I wouldn't have minded getting him then. He then went a bit average the last couple years and has only looked back to his best this season.

He sorted us out in 06/07, I believe, with his two goals at OT. I believe he was signed to Blackburn ahead of that season... Then the manager changed and he wasn't necessarily seen as part of the future... Took a while till he got back on, playing well, then faded...

I'll always have an affinity for him... Especially seeing as he's given Norway fans a few magical moments... He tends to do it quite spectacularly as well, so even friendlies feel magical. Noggy fans'll remember his incredible volley to earn us 3-2 against Finland in a friendly, we'd just condeded 2-2 in the 91st minute or something, two mins later he pops up and volleys from 25 meters or so.

Chipped Slovenia in added time to earn us a win in a WC qualifier (I think?), scored on a far post-aimed free kick against Brazil to give us the lead in a game we drew 1-1 (thus having done his share to contribute towards our stunning Brazil record).

Zero width again for City.

Can see a draw for City.

They need to win this sort of game mind.

ha ha poor Rafa 2-0

Its pretty shocking but on "forzainterforums" some of the inter fans were celebrating that goal because it should spell the end of Rafas reign there. Pretty shocking that the fans love for the club is out weighed by their hate for Rafa, then again it is Rafa... To bad he cant take the situation hes in and blame it on someone else!

Nah, Fulham have been poor recently and City will have a lot to play for

Inter were some 6 points ahead of Milan at the start of season if I remember correctly, now they are 9 points behind with basically no chance of winning the league. It's probably down to the fact that at the start of season their players still remembered what Mourinho taught them and played that way, now they are all Rafa's.

I would not say Inter has no chance. 9 points is not all that much considering Milan are not too consistent themselves but with Rafa in charge it makes things a lot harder for Inter.

Fulham to get a draw today. That's all they do, draw.

BBC Sport - Football - Man City should cut player wages, says Kolo Toure

Ok, I'm going to say it, I like Berbatov and for me he's a very good player, but we shouldn't have signed Berbatov and we should have kept Tevez in the club, he's easily one of the best 5 or 10 strikers in the world.

here we go another tevez-berbatov debate...

Wow what a novel idea. Don't think its been mentioned on here before.

According to this place he's not even World Class let alone top 5 or 10

There was a time earlier on in Tevez's City career when he was playing complete dogshit. Most of the City fans wanted him out and "fergie sign him up" was the joke used to show his bad form.

Suddenly he started playing well and is now a great player. Enough with the we should of done this or done that.

What happened has happened. Nobody can measure potential so how the hell would we know he'd turn out be very good? From what he showed with us he was never worth that 30m price tag

Tevez, Elmander and Carrol top of the goal scorers charts now. Who would have imagined that.

rafa is pretty creative that way. He will find a scapegoat.

Another poster with memory loss.

United made an offer, Tevez rejected it for City's bigger offer (supposedly 140k per week, perhaps higher). SAF said such on the club's offer being rejected.

And no one knows if the actual fee paid by City was 30m or up to 45m. No way was the club going to drop that kind of cash on a forward after paying a huge fee the summer before. United have to worry about PIKs and such unlike Chelsea and City. The initial loan deal called for a final transfer fee of 20-25m but did not state that the fee had be accepted if another club offered more. It's no doubt Tevez angled for the move away.

And if there was a forward the club should have signed that would have fit the free-flowing style, it was Anelka instead of Berbatov.

Can't argue with that.

would be nice if fulham show some grit and fight in them, awful.

Oh, boy. Teveth scores and again the should've would've brigade strikes. Haven't heard that since........ the last time he scored.
