I'm withholding my judgement on his scoring abilities for the moment. Yes, he's been very poor on that front in his time here, but in his first run of form in what seems like years, he's scored one and nearly got another in four games. Not exactly prolific or earth shattering I grant you, but if he keeps getting into positions in the box and learning how best to deal with those chances, he could start increasing his strike rate reasonably easily.
He will only improve his strike rate when he actually learns how to shoot.

They are indeed sir, and and he can hit pretty good medium and long range passes as well. Just a question of learning how to stay cool when there's a net looming up, as far as I can see.

Great news, and .......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... HE SHITS ON FABREGAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah you keep dreaming son!

He's on fantastic form !

Didn't look best pleased with SAF about coming off.

probably for the best, we'll need him for the upcoming fixtures.

I wouldn't too having to be replaced by that lard Gibbo!!

Great disguised pass for the second goal. At least he's living up to 'the new Ronaldinho' tag. Just joking

What a difference a few months make on the caf.

Excellent performance, again. We've got an absolutely top-notch midfielder on our hands if he keeps this up for the rest of the season.

Had another very good performance today. United lost control of midfield when Gibson replaced him.

Hell of a shot to hit the crossbar... And he's getting into better positions. A bit anonymous at times but keeps up the positive trend... Finally :D

He looked like a goal threat in this match

Hope that puts to bed the whole "he cant play in a 442" arguement. Still i like seeing that we have a CMF other than Scholes who can pick a forward pass!

And it seems like hes finding his shooting range

Our midfield became meh once he was subbed after a quick flurry of great passing.

Young and learning. Has a very good period right now and keeps improving, but there are signs he's coming of age. Only 22 though, he's got so much more to offer. Another (very) good performance today, more of the same on Tuesday please.

Really is doing well as a schemer these days and does look a threat, which he didnt for a long time. Until recently a team coming up against United with Anderson in midfield, wouldnt have to worry about him. They'd deal with the other players United had on the field.

These days any team coming up against United with Anderson in midfield will be forced to deal with him too. They cannot allow him to run with the ball through the middle and play his passes into the strikers and they do have to close him down because he can shoot.

Brilliant again, we turned a bit crap when he went off which was a little worrying but it makes sense with brum on tuesday night.

I loved it when he went up to challenge Gordon and ran into the goal - got the crowd going. Keep it sup son, keep it up Ander-son.

He was absolutely spectacular today. Ran the midfield - incisive passing, great runs and useful tackling.

Right now, he's the firsy name in the midfield when you're selecting the team.

He was good. Defensively he is lazy though. He will not get away with playing in a midfield two with a partner other than Carrick.

Do I remember it wrong or did he made the no look pass to Berbatov for the 2nd goal?

Didn't think there was too much wrong with him in that department, today. Won his share of tackles on the edge of our box and in the centre of the pith, which was useful. Nothing excessive, but there wasn't too much of this to do. He sometimes failed to track his man, but it wasn't a problem.

Yeah I was pointing it out to my dad during the replay - very confident player at the moment.

I think it's a stamina issue not laziness. When you run around like him you need to rest at times and he chooses to do that when United defend.

Any team would lose control of a midfield when Gibbo the Hippo comes on. It was his first match in ages but he really seems to lack a footballing brain....unless he has to shoot.

Anderson was great again. His passing has improved even more. Great, incisive passes to Rooney today.
