Birmingham v Manchester United

Don't suppose there's any chance of people not acting like utter cnuts about Gibson for 90 minutes, is there?

He's a United player after all. Maybe we should give him the chance to impress, without making our minds up about him before a ball's been kicked?

He isn't as good as any other midfielder that has played for us this season but he isn't that crap at all, could probably handle the business at some PL sides including Birmingham.

The bright light is possibly Mame Diouf's angelic hands reaching down to cleanse the fog.

feck that looks bad , lets hope it gets no worse.
Cant play if you cant see the ball and players to pass to

Gibson actually has, by far - the best goals pr game ratio of all our midfielders.

Hahaha you're having a laugh right? Gibson is scapegoat of the night already, regardless of how he plays.

:nono:

Don't say unreasonable things.

A shame that Nani is getting injured right in time for the busy christmas period with Park off to Asia.

We should have played hardball with South Korea just like Moyes are with Australia reg. Cahill.

I like Gibson, I think he's a good player. I don't mind him playing if we're a 4-3-3 formation, but if it's 4-4-2 I'd just rather see a more natural winger on the right, but we shall wait and see.

He has a good shot on him, I've said before if he got a chance to play in most games then he'd probably get a decent amount of goals in a season.

We could have really done with Nani tonight. It could be tight and a moment of inspiration could make the difference.

Well said.

I quite like Gibson. Think a lot of the criticism is unjustified. A lot of great players started with similar reactions from United "fans" and went on to become great.

You all know the names on that list.

If we play 4-3-3 then I can understand Gibson starting, but if it is a 4-4-2 then Obertan should've been chosen ahead of Gibson imo. Good team overall.

I feel for Gibson if he's playing on the right. Certainly not his position. Maybe Fergie is intending to use his energy to mimic Park's play.

Still enough on that 11 to see off Brum. Rooney to score.

Has either of Anderson or Gibson ever played well when they're both starting?

Whinge, whinge, whinge. There's always a group of people in the matchday thread that will find something to complain about. As if you fecking dipshits know better than Ferguson.

Gibson on the right is fine. It's Birmingham, not Arsenal or Chelsea. We'll win 2-0.

For the record, Gibbo has played the right wing role a fair few times when out on loan, so it's not an alien position to him.

I'm expecting a real tough game tonight - disjointed and low tempo stuff. They're a fecking awful side to play.
