Liverpool v Manchester United

As my stream has gone down - can someone explain:

Did Nani
a) dive and roll around like a girl (cue laughing and eye rolling)
b) have his leg fecked up by a horror tackle from Carragher

??

Anyone?

As half the posts are criticising Nani, and half Carragher/the ref

Carragher should've been sent off. Joke. And Raphael got caught too.

I'm actually more worried about Nani than the result right now, we know he goes down easy but i've never seen him actually in tears like that. Hopefully not a break.

Rafa losing his head after a poor challenge on him.

On the plus side, it's Chico time!

3-2 United by the end. Keep the faith, lads!

What an awful half of football from United defence is all over the place, and Carrick has not got a clue

HT.Need to catch my breath.Need a much improved game in the second.Bring on Hernandez for Rooney

Nani might have not felt pain at first because of adrenaline, it comes later. Hope he won't be out for too long because with Giggs and Fletcher on wings we won't be very strong.

More important than the result of this game is the return of Nani.

If he is out for the season because of that tackle, it will be devastating.

are you stupid or something?

How am I fecking stupid .. He gets hammered yeah but running 10 yards to cry in the refs face and fall like a bleeding granny is fecking embarrassing

The latter, but he confused everyone by standing up, flailing about a bit, and then collapsing. Last time I saw a player do that it was a broken leg - hopefully that's not what's happened this time.

I meant in the to knock him out and get him to calm down sense
Fair enough mate.

Nani probably realized that it was a serious injury that could take him out for the rest of the season in what has been his best season for United thats why he was reacting that way.

Nani's one could have been a red, it was either a red/yellow but the ref chose yellow... Luckily he had the same standard so he gave yellow to young Rafa... But definitely Carragher's challenge was much worse...

Nani went up showed the scars... then he dropped.. Trust me I had a motor bike accident before and at first the pain just ain't there, you cannot feel it but after a while the pain catches you and you drop down, no wrong there and if you've never been injured like that you cannot explain how injured Nani was.. .Trust me.

Has there ever been a second half where it's been so likely that there will be a red? It's basically guaranteed.

Ref had been good but should have sent both Carragher and Rafael off.

Has there ever been a second half where it's so likely a red will be shown? It's pretty much a guarantee.

Dowd had been good til just before the end of that half, should have sent both Carragher and Rafael off.

Caf going into meltdown already. Dread to think how long its gunna be down for after the game

How Carragher hasn't seen red for that I will never know, shocking challenge.

HT. We have well and truly lost the plot.

All that madness around half time was embarassing enough, but so far we've been suicidal at the back. The way we just capitulated was bad but there's no excuse for that behaviour. Half the team have been well below par. So in the second half we need to get a grip with our emotions and go all out attack. We can't afford to sit back and wait for them to pick them off. We simply must outscore them, no matter what the cost.

Fergie needs to crank the hairdryer up to full blast.

Nani is fine. He got and ran upto complain.

Fair fecks to Dowd, think he's handled the game really well.

liverpool should have had 2 players sent off.....or did you miss that? If nani was fine, he wouldn't have gone off injured. He didn't go down to get Gerrard sent off ....

Even bloody Savage thinks it's a shocking tackle:

RobbieSavage8 Rooneys got pillared from post to post ,for me
carraghers challenge is as bad as what he done !! Worst tackle I've seen for along time

Nani broken his leg ?

No I don't think it was that bad, looked like something in his shin. was strange, he got back up and then fell down a minute later.

his season could be over though.
