Liverpool v Manchester United

If there is still someone on here which thinks the squad is good enough blablabla he needs his head checked, we need to spend big next summer

The squad is good enough. The first team midfielders - far from it.

Blackpool have done the double over these...

It is when a midtable side raises their game against a better side.

But yeah, feck's sake. We're lucky though...we're lucky that Arsenal aren't that great either.

In so many away matches this season we have looked toothless up front. It may all stem from midfield but I can't help thinking that Rooney is not playing well enough to warrant a place and Berba will never play at a pace that suits our style of football. Yes, I agree we need to invest but I can't help thinking that SAF would have if money had of been available.

I agree spoony . I hate to say it but I've never quite known exactly how we managed to be top of the league, when we've been so average sometimes.

But today still hurts me

Because Chelsea's train derailed in November and the rest of the league has been average or very competitive, however you deem to view it.

no bite no passion no commitment, our players are fecking gutless.

Chelsea and Everton at home. Arsenal's game in hand is away to bloody Spurs who're chasing a 4th spot. You really think that's going to be a walk in the park for Arsena?!

And Arsenal yet go away to Stoke, Fulham, Bolton and have Liverpool at home. I'll be amazed if they win those games.

Agreed, I've said all along that whatever we get at Chelsea and Liverpool is a bonus, we have to win two of our remaining three easier aways and win all home games and we will be all set. Preferably a draw at Emirates too but I think they will batter us there honestly.

My point exactly.
I'll be gutted for a few days but by Wednesday I'll look at the league table, see where the two clubs are and think if this is the trade off fair enough!

The red card at Chelsea has cost us dear today, but Liverpool deserve it to be fair. They have been the better team, soft goals but nevertheless

We have been completed outplayed by a team that has been shit for most of the season. We don't deserve to win anything playing like this. If the players cannot raise themselves for a game like this they don't deserve to win anything.

Liverpool have picked up more points against the 'Top 5' than any other team this season

i wondered what fergie thoughts now! have to lift up the morale for the next game.
