Giggs has been unusually sloppy this half. The amount of times he's wasted possession is a bit disturbing. Everyone else has been pretty good apart from a few defensive lapses. We just need to start the second half the same way we started the first and we should score. I can see Valencia for Giggs before too long.

We need to win this game on our own. Ref looks like he is going to do everything possible to assist Marseille. Too many strange calls indeed.

I'd bring on Valencia for Giggs at 60 mins. Giggs has been slightly wasteful with the ball. Nani, Valencia, Rooney and Hernandez would be deadly on the counter.

Scholes has been the best player in the first half. We really need Anderson and Fletcher back, because I can't stand Carrick anymore that's why I'm not even going to comment on his performance.

Marseilles have had way too many clear cut chances for me. And with JOS off, our defence is even weaker so I expect they will create a few more, surely of which they will convert one.

You get that foreboding feeling that we're gonna pay for that profligacy with chances and possession sooner or later. After the goal, the bad habits started to creep in again. Poor choices, trying too much to go it alone, trying the difficult pass, etc..Giggs has been poor ...guilty of trying to be too fancy.
