Ok lads, first of all: I'm not a native english speaker, so please forgive me for the next few errors in my text but I really need to talk something out loud.
I know you all love Kenny Dalglish. So do I. I love this man for every smile he brings to my face, for every goal he has done for Liverpool, for every bit of love he has for the club and I'd never say anything against him as a person - never.
But we're on a point, where we need to think about a few things. I mean, did no one really notice how shit we were in a few games? I remember when we almost conceded an equalizier against Fulham at Anfield, I remember how badly we failed in Braga and how uninspired and simply bad we looked in the 2nd leg, how miserably we played against West Ham for at least 65 minutes and how we had to hope for a miracle when we played Prague in the 2nd leg in order to get through.
Surely, besides that, we had some very good results. We won at the Bridge, we've beaten the Mancs with a class performance... but can we really keep on being this inconsistent? Yes, I know, our squad is poor. It's very poor. But it makes no sense when we beat the shit out of United while we get beaten by WBA with Roy feckin Hodgson as their manager. They simply outplayed us, we looked ridiculously disgusting.
Now I'm on a point on which I ask myself: should Kenny really be given a 2 or even 3 year contract? Please, remember: I love this man. He's the King, there won't be another like him. But our performances really really worry me.
Couldn't we not just accept that Kenny only had a fireman role, that he saved us from the decay Hodgson brought in and give the job to the man we all still adore and love, to Rafa Benitez? He probably won't get a job before next summer, this means we could easily get him back and Kenny could step aside without worrying about anything.
I'd just like to know some of your opinions. These are just my own feelings and I hope you won't slaughter me for not completely trusting the King. I really would want to but it's getting harder with every poor performance we deliver...
