The Chelsea midfield is going to be far better this time. Ramires, Lampard and Essien in a 4-3-3 will be way better than last week.

The beauty of this formation is that we could switch to 4-3-3 with Giggsy in the middle. In fact, I think we may start with that.

Ji Sung is the key to this. That's why Valencia's out. He's going to niggle them to hell. Has an important roll to play. Valencia could come on for him later depending how things go.

Quite surprised Gibson got the nod ahead of Anderson, who's more versatile.
In my opinion, Gibson is there on merit. His current form is far better than Anderson's.

Well obviously. Anderson has been injured for a while. He hasn't really got any form to speak of.
I just would have thought Anderson would have been able to cover more positions if needed whereas Gibson is pretty much a central midfielder solely.
If we here can come out with that thinking, I am sure Guardiola has thought about it too.
Tight game its better you have a option on the bench who doesnt need minutes to get his match fitness up. I expect him to start vs City tho
