"Internet terrorists"? Is that what these big men think they are?

They're running around with their email campaigns, shutting down American radio broadcasts, and supporting Rafa across the internet messageboards spouting their delusion at every moment.

Close enough to terrorists.

Sonny Feehan;9580957Average season attendances make more sense and I think that United crowds more than held their own against Liverpool in the 70s and 80s said:
In fact, "more than held their own" is an understatement - in the 19 seasons between 1972/73 and 1990/91 (those years selected because they mark the era of Liverpool's dominance, of course), United had higher crowds than Liverpool in all but two seasons (1987/88 and 1988/89).

we had the highest attendances in the country even during our stint in Division 2. 60K+ attendances against the likes of Blackpool is fecking impressive. I think we've had the best attendances since 55 barring a couple of seasons. No club can match that....not in this country.

Average attendance in the Division 2 season was 40,671. That is just brilliant support.

The reason United are so good at it, is because they have good counter attacking players who play in a team who are unable to control a game from the first whistle. Nani, Rooney, Chickpea, Valencia. All pacey and can break away when the oppurtunity arises. I know you can say it about any team, but I genuinely wonder without the pace on the wings how United would fare in the league. They won't control a game, teams always have chances against them. It's simply embarrassing that a team that is so distictly average can probably, probably go on to win the league again.

Unable to control a game? Distinctly average?

lulz.

A few "feck's it matter if it works?" posts. A post that starts sensible enough by pointing out how it's geared to the pace we have up front and on the wings, but ends up back in "average team" territory. Meh. Not a standout thread by any means.

Honestly, there's more sense in that thread than nonsense, even if most of the people talking sense are loath to mention us.

Blimey, Arsene Wenger is on RAWK.

When football is scored like Ice Dancing, this thread will be relevant. You play to your strengths, always. If you can exploit a team's weaknesses by sitting back then you'd be daft not to do it. We've done it plenty of times. In fact, in our absolute heydey, there were always critics calling us boring. And you know what? I didn't give a shit.

Well, I give a shit when we don't at least try to entertain. Winning CL ties by scoring an away goal and choking the match to death requires a certain tactical skill, and players with great nerve and composure, but it can be fecking boring. I just end up chewing my nails off, and I might as well watch it on Teletext.

Winning with verve and flair (and the RAWKite is a moron because you can't counterattack well without verve and flair) is much more fun to watch.

"Utd are a team that have no playing style as such. They play according to the situation and the opposition. They can dominate possession , counter attack , sit back , even hoof if the situation demands it.

That's what makes them so dangerous , you never know what to expect. "

This post pretty much sums up the genius of SAF and the failings of Wenger. The ability to adapt to the opposition's tactics, and more importantly, the ability to adapt to changes in football tactics and management.

Andy@Allerton has not only wished Paul Scholes dead this evening, but also his family.

I'm on my phone so can't post a link, but the thread is about Scholes' tackling and is in their General Football forum.

Tbf, most who posted after him have told him to wise up.

I've always thought A@A was one of us on a WUM, but now it seems I have to conclude he's a genuinely disturbed individual. A sad end to many good laughs. :(

The idea of Karma actually existing and it doing in him and his family. It must be said. That would be funny.

But sadly. In this world. Evil. Wrongdoing. Being a shithouse.
All rewarded.

Paul Scholes sums up what's fecked up about this country. Horrible little shithouses getting away with murder.

Link -- Scholes horrific tackling. Why is it just laughed off?

He's a cnut, I remember him posting shit in a Munich anniversary thread.

That faggot needs to learn how to post properly.

And how the hell he can say Scholes is 'getting away with murder' is anyone's guess... And you want to 'do' his family in? It's a game of Football for crying out loud you stupid piece of shit.

Andy used to post here on the CAF back when we had a lot of dippers here. We got rid of him about 8-9 years ago.

That new Utd/Munich docudrama

According to one RAWK poster, it is a 'disgrace' that the BBC are going to air a docudrama on the Munich Air Disaster due to it being an 'advertisement' for Man United. A new low?

Was there not something like that for Hillsborough several years ago? Christopher Eccleston was in it.

I don't see anything wrong with things like that. That's probably some little cnut.
