Valencia's probably our worst player tonight. Giggs and Evra have been pretty poor. I think the selection was right, just an off night for too many key players at this point.

To beat these guys you can't have weaknesses or else they will nail you on it. Their squad is breathtaking and when they sense some weakness they solve it by bringing in the best (Villa etc). Against these guys our best players are normal players so guess what players like Carrick would look like.
To be fair, you can mask your lack of quality in central midfield against a lot of premiership teams, but against the best midfield in the world it's bound to show up. We just have been too poor in midfield. Gives the defense too herculean a task.
How I'd love a fully fit Roy Keane at this point.
