Barcelona vs. Manchester United

A great career by Van Der Sar. A great servant to the club, who shall be sorely missed. Hats off to you sir, i'm grateful for the memories you've provided. You haven't got the sending you deserved, but all the well. I hope you have a bright future with a healthy family. Thank you.

fecking embarrassing performance today, anything less than 100 million to replenish the squad would be wrong.

Calm down. We could spend £500million and we still might not be able to beat Barca, theyre that good. Just look at Real Madrid's failure to catch them.

We are scared. Especially in midfield. Funnily enough I think Real were less scared of Barca!

I agree. I don't think I've ever seen United play with such fear, it's pathetic but this has still been a good season. But really what this game has shown us is that there is a huge problem in midfield and there is no point in denying it any more, we need class in the middle.

Thats that then... Congrats Barca
Well done to us getting to the finals. Got outplayed tonight.
Wish this wasnt how the season ended

Two things that hurt right now.

United losing two finals. feck us fans and feck the players. It's about the glory of the club.

And SAF. It tears me to see him as a runner up again. Wanted a 3rd CL so badly for him. The greatest manager ever losing twice to Pep fecking Guardiola. Doesn't sound right.

Its like watching us against some 2nd division club.

The 2nd division side would put up a fight though.

That's what upsets me about today and Rome. Fine, they are clearly better, no argument but... WTF ARE WE PLAYING AT?!?!?

It was as constructive as your post, the type of shit football is trying to get rid of. I wonder what you'd say if someone said 'that diving Nani I wish Puyol would break his legs' it's pathetic. It's a fecking game, grow up.

In all fairness looking but it was a regretful comment in the heat of the moment, but christ calm down!

And Nani is no where near the level cnutness that Busquets is.

Nice to see SAF and Pep shake hands, SAF will admit we were outclassed.

I wonder. Even with a different bunch on, I really doubt if it would've been any different ! Let's face it, they've been on top form today.

Would anyone disagree here that the way they've played today has been like a season highlights package?
Great runs, peach balls, goal of the CL. We've been done by a great team in great form.

But what have been our tactics today? Sit back and let them have the ball. That's suicide against a very creative barcelona. You're probably right the result may have been no different, but we'd have put up more of a challenge with Fletch, Anderson, Carrick IMO. hindsight is a wonderful thing though i suppose.

We can't get the ball, even.

I'm trying to say that the way we play is very different. we need time on the ball. If the second division team pressed us, we would find it difficult.

Barca on the other hand don't seem to need more than a millisecond on the ball :(

I agree. This time, i'm not hurting as badly as in '09. At least we scored one. They've been top of their game apart from the first few minutes.

Like I said, pure ball-play, you have to hand it to them.

That said, I seriously doubt if they can win the English league.
Well, that's the level. They're on another planet...and must be the best side ever, better Saachi's Milan.

Urgh, what a disgustingly detestable team Barcelona are right now. Ghastly rabble of cnuts.

It's ridiculous that he didn't

No it isn't, it wasn't an obvious start and we did pretty well without him starting in big games recently.

We just have way too many players getting stage fright when playing Barca.
