Rather we will be disappointed if we don't sign genuine quality to fill up that role and rightly so.You guys are all gunna be so disapointed when we don't sign either Modric of Sneijder this Summer..
Not going to happen. We'll bring in a youngster or a cheap option IMO.

I can't see us signing an unknown to replace Scholes and being successful with it.Nah. We may well fill that role with a relatively unknown midfield player. People will be disappointed that it isn't the big name they're craving.

No. That wont happen either. The notion that SAF won't spend to strengthen his midfield this summer should be perished. It's a matter of on who, not if. He will sign a player or two people know very well. The only contention will be if they like those players or not.Maybe Fergie see's the replacement being someone we already have at the club.

I guess we'll just wait and see. I can't see it happening though. I'm just looking forward to the big caf meltdown when we sign Charlie Adam.

And yet there are still no takers for my offer of a bet .....All this bollocks of "He's not going, honest!" etc just makes me think that there's a strong chance we're going to be getting him.
Don't ask why, just a feeling in my balls.

I'll bet you he isn't coming. My tagline.
Oh... you think the same I do.

This clearly means we're signing Sanchez, Sneijder, Young, Nasri and Rodwell, and SAFs told Levy to feck off with the haggling

Heres a good rumour: Spurs willing to discuss Modric with MUFC if they can have Rio Ferdinand in any deal. No thanks
Taken from badgerwolf himself. Not that that is credible in anyway.
But yeah, if any truth involved, no thank you. I'm resigned to the fact the Modric deal will never come off... well not this summer.

LUKA MODRIC has dropped another big hint he is ready to quit Tottenham.
Tottenham look set for a huge summer battle to hold on to their star midfielder, who has been linked with some of Europe’s top clubs.
Boss Harry Redknapp insists the Croatian is “irreplaceable” and is determined to keep him.
Modric says he expects to be at Spurs when they return next month ahead of their pre-season tour of South Africa.
But he refused to rule out leaving before the end of the summer transfer window. He said: “I’m a Tottenham player and will be in London on July 7 to begin preparing for the season.
“But I want to say that transfers could occur later. In England it is often the case they happen on the last day of the transfer period, August 31.
“So it is pointless to worry about anything now. “If my situation changes after the start of preparation it would not be a problem.”
Only last year, Modric signed a new deal tying him to Spurs until 2016. But a host of clubs are ready to test his desire to stay at White Hart Lane after Spurs failed to secure another season of Champions League football.
Modric has made it clear he wants to keep playing in the competition since the end of the season. He also admitted a “transfer is of course possible” if Spurs receive a big offer.
Manchester United head the list of clubs keen on the Croatian star. Old Trafford chief Sir Alex Ferguson is a long-term admirer of the 25-year-old.
And he is now ready set to step up his interest as he looks for a successor to Paul Scholes, who retired last week.
Chelsea, Manchester City and Inter Milan have also been linked with the pint-sized playmaker.
