Sorry but this makes no sense. Fantastic football can be played regardless of the opposition.

No but generally if a team has played fantastic football they haven't just drawn 1-1 against the 3rd placed team in Sweden. Im all for saying games are a good run out and that some good moves were made, and in particular I thought Zaha and Henriquez impressed for you guys, but that was a bit over the top.

Moyes saying that Evans just took a knee to the ankle and Nani felt his groin tighten up. Both taken off just to be safe and should be okay.

Obviously no discussion on anything such as Rooney or the transfer front as it's MUTV and they aren't allowed or haven't got the balls to ask about that stuff incase they get in shit.

I agree with you, I think we were overall pretty average. I wasn't particularly impressed with Zaha today, I thought Henriquez was very good though, Nani looked bright before he had to come off, Vidic looked ok, Carrick his usual self, I'm happy with what I saw from Ando... I've been disappointed with RvP over the pre-season though, I almost get the feeling he doesn't care that much, we'll see if he sparks back into life when the real football starts again.

However, I'm glad that the club chose these games cos despite the average overall impression, I think we faced some pretty tough opposition (especially in Japan and this evening), which is better than those pre seasons when you play shit teams where you just bang in goals for fun but don't really help you assess where you're really at. Fitness wise, the team seems good, football wise, we're still lacking a little something to really excite me, but then again, the team selections during pre season aren't necessarily what the real starting XI will be come the start of the season, so we'll see.

Yet another poor performance. United have looked pretty arse this pre-season. I know it's only pre-season but still.....
When you consider how strong Chelsea have looked thus far, it's kind of difficult not to feel slightly anxious.

Really can't stand listening to Paddy Crerand's commentary anymore.

I'm genuinely going to watch it on mute next time he shows up abusing my ears.

Anyone see one of his most recent stupid rants below?

In regards to the match, it wasn't one I'll remember for years to come let's just say that. Good work out more than anything, but we still look very rusty.

To be fair ,there were a quite a few on here refusing to believe as well.

Just got home from the game I want my 70 quid for the ticket back. Then again we have always been shit in friendly matches so it's nothing new.

Well considering that he's going to be our only real goal threat if Rooney leaves and we play 1 striker, he better decide to start putting these chances in.

We're selling Chicha and Kagawa too?

:wenger:

Your posts regarding Rooney are nothing short of ridiculous.

Zaha was average I thought, too many pointless tricks instead of keeping things simpler, Henriquez looked good.
Nah, perfect time to try things out is in practice games. If they dont work it doesnt matter. Players need to have some freedom to experiment and attempt things, warm up games are exactly where you want to see that experimentation.

I have no pb with the experimentation, just noticed that last night it didn't work out well for him.

What did he say about Rooney?
That Rooney is one of the best players at United, and has formed great understanding on the pitch with RvP. This type of player is very difficult to replace, unless Cristiano is coming back but he can't see that happening. So he would love Rooney to stay.

But having said that, if Rooney really wants to leave, there's no point keeping an unhappy player in the club. It would affect the moral in the dressing room. He wants Rooney to come out and make it clear whether he wants to go.

That simply is identical to my opinion. Well said.
