Not enough for Glasgow and I expected a better turnout. Unlikely that Scotland will become independent. A comfortable win for No.
Ah, Glasgow is ok, but the other two can do one.Can we bin off Glasgow, Dundee and Murray pls?
Go to bed Scrumpet, you're drunk.Nicola Sturgeon seems nice.
A bit unfair, she can hardly decide that on the fly.The campaign is over and Nicola Sturgeon still can't answer a straight question.
Will you sit and work with Westminster to thrash out a devolution deal or will you wait for an offer then react?
Cue a minute of vague dancing around the question.
The yes campaign in a nutshell.

Hope the English will at least get a parliament out of all of this.

She's got a certain dinnerlady charm.I googled Nicola Sturgeon.
You can feck right off
Not cut and dried about what new powers there will be. English MPs are rightly pissed off about these carrots being thrown around willy-nilly by Cameron et al.Now it's official, how do our Scottish posters feel?
Promises were made so Westminster will be granting more freedom down the line but is it enough to satisfy the people just yet.
Slightly disappointed that Cameron buckled and promised more devolution at the last minute. Just means us English tax payers will see more of our money go north of the border, to prop up the Scots even more than we do.
Public spending higher in Scotland than in England, free university tuition, free prescriptions, free long term elderly care and one of the biggest welfare bills in the EU. The Scots had £1600 per person more than us English. All propped us by English taxes, kind of almost wish they got independence....

There will need to be something in this for everyone, not just Scotland. English people are starting to get fed up with Scots getting preferential treatment.
The Yes campaign is already coming with excuses such as "The establishment!!", the media, Westminster, the supermakets!!!
What the extent of this result shows is that the "Undecided" voters before the referendum weren't actually undecided - they were No voters who were cowed into silence by the disgraceful behaviour of a large number of Yes supporters who would scream down any opposition. They just sat and waited then delivered their killer blow. Good on them. The thing that pisses me off about that kind of talk from these people is that it assumes that Scots voting No can't have done it for any good reason - it must be because they were manipulated by Westminster, the Media, the Illuminati etc. Sort of carrying on from the whole Team Scotland vs Team Westminster shite, very exclusionary and divisive discourse.
Big speech from Cameron coming just after 7am. Will be interesting to hear what he's got to say.Good to hear we are going to look at bringing in measures to block scottish MPs voting on English and Welsh matters as well.
Yes, that's a very important point.Good to hear we are going to look at bringing in measures to block scottish MPs voting on English and Welsh matters as well.

Absolutely, and Cameron has just said he's going to address the West Lothian question. He now has the perfect opportunity to do that. Not cut and dried about what new powers there will be. English MPs are rightly pissed off about these carrots being thrown around willy-nilly by Cameron et al.
