That return date is from way back when he first got injured. We've had no updates from SAF since, which would suggest he's nowhere close to returning.

Very bad luck this boy. always playing well for few games then get injured.
It's not a good sign when the returning date change to often. Apart from that we need the little fecker back, he ad quality and pace to a allready thin department.

Sorts out the thin in the dept for sure.

Anyway he's back in training

Anderson and Nani back in training today hopefully they will make an appearance in the league next weekend.

I remember the excitement when we signed them within 20 minutes or whatever in the summer of 2007. Nearly six years later, and so many question marks remain.

Things are starting to fall nicely into place now in terms of personnel, touch wood. Shinji, Vidic and Rafael all recently returned, and now Anderson and Nani back in training. We should hopefully be somewhere near peak condition by the time we go to Madrid next month.

Edit: Forgot Rooney is now injured. I read somewhere today that he could be out for another two weeks, although the source was not reliable. Hopefully he's back for Liverpool along with Anderson and Nani.

Ando is back in training, that means that he should be match fit in time for the last few games of the season!

will he be fit?

In training today

Great news, hopefully he can kick straight back into gear.

Shame he probably won't be fit enough to start. The prospect of a fit-and-firing Anderson vs Lucas the Messiah is a nice one. He'd show him up badly, I reckon.

I can't help but laugh when I see a picture of him, in a good way. He seems to always have that funny look about him.

I completely get this, they say laughter is infectious and he is someone who you know is probably very rarely down constant joker etc, its said many times that he is a great personality in the camp

If he stays fit from now on, I think he steals Cleverley's place in the team.

That said, I doubt he will. He will probably go on a good run of matches and get injured again.

I'm not so sure of that. A lot of People seem to have this new found opinion that once Anderson is fit, he'll wipe the floor with any other central midfielder we have. Don't forget though, Anderson has gone through some god awful patches even when he was fully fit. As for Cleverly, he's displayed solid consistency this season and has turned up in the big games.

I hope that Ando comes back in the form he was in when he got injured, but lets not pretend that he is always consistent when fit. He's definitely not.

He's been back in training for ten days now. In the squad for Sunday so it's good to know we're back in numbers. Hopefully he can stay fit, said that many times but when on form he is unstoppable and I think he's a great player.

Lets not forget how injury prone RVP has been over his career and look what he's turned into. Once Anderson gets past these injuries he will be some player. I know many people have been a bit negative of him in the past but you'd have to think he will be worth the wait 'if' he does come away from these injuries on top.

When he's on top form, albeit it not all the time, I do think he's quite unplayable. He's able to dominate midfield and dictate the tempo of the game. Problem is as well, for every RVP you get a Saha so I hope he can ride the injuries out.

I guess when I hear the word unstoppable I think of Messi, Ronaldo etc.

I agree with you in that he is a dynamic player with a lot to his game when fit and on form.
