:lol::lol:

So immediately after we see pictures of him in training the paper tries to wriggle out of the situation it put itself in? Lovely. I'm sure we'd have heard of more clubs in this loan offer if he'd been missing a few more days. My bet would have been some team from Italy.

I'm fairly sure that was the first time the Independent covered the story.

SAF could have cleared this all up at yesterdays press conference but he didn't. Saying something along the lines of, There is no issue between me and the boy Anderson and there is no chance of him going out on loan this month, would have stopped speculation dead in it's tracks. The fact he didn't kill it off is odd.

I reckon he'll be gone in the summer, something just isn't right.

I know what people are gonna say about my post above. Something along the lines of "Fergie doesn't need to clarify anything to the media" which is true but look at the Rooney rumours, it didn't take SAF long to dispel them through the media did it?
So why no comment on the Anderson rumours if he's in Fergies future plans?

On a personal note I'd hate to see Anderson leave. His inconsistency is frustrating but it's plain to see that when he finally matures he's gonna be a monster of a CM.

even the boy was not satisfying our expectation none of us will like to see him leaving..he is stil young and has time to improve

Did SAF actually say something about it directly? All i heard was Rooney come out and say hes flattered but wants to stay here. I stand to be corrected though

If Fergie try even once to explain somthing clearly, then next time he will get 100000times more questions for him to clarify. haha

The reason he didn't clarify the rumours is because he wasn't asked. The press asked if Anderson would be in the squad to face Arsenal, Fergie said yes and then was asked another question. End of.

Or, maybe Fegie realises these "stories" haven't hit the mainsteam press and is stuck in tabloids and forums... Hell, maybe Fergie hasn't heard a lick of it yet

Oh sorry my bad. I must have dreamt it:D

:lol:Hopefully it's all bollocks. I really like him as a player. It would be a shame if he joined another club and became world class for them.

Not exactly. Ben Hibbs on Twitter said "Anderson is in the squad for Sunday. Didn't answer question about why he's not been included recently. But he could play"

The Independent says:

Anderson has not featured in Ferguson's squads for the past two matches, prompting speculation about his future which the manager was not willing to discuss yesterday. "Anderson will be in the squad for Arsenal," he said. On his absence from squads he said: "It doesn't matter about that."

Ferguson's uncompromising tone made it clear he would not tolerate questions on suggestions Anderson has skipped training this week.

He was asked. He just followed his usual pattern when he doesn't want to reply. The press know when not to press.

He's off then

Paris Saint-Germain have failed in a bid to sign Anderson on loan from Manchester United.

The deal was scuppered by PSG's reluctance to pay the Brazilian's wages.

Lyon are also interested and the window is open till midnight in France, so there may yet be developments.

Sportsmail first revealed Lyon's interest in the midfielder over a week ago and there has been talk of a swap deal involving keeper Hugo Lloris.

Anderson, 21, arrived at Old Trafford from Porto for £18million in 2007 but he has failed to live up to his billing and has scored just once in 54 appearances.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson fined the player £80,000 last month for skipping training and dropped him from the side.

To be fair thats bollocks. The same as the lyon story.

Speculation is inevitable. Looks like Fergie is giving Anderson the Nani treatment. Doesn't mean he's getting rid, though.

I wonder will Anderson and Nani ever play well at the same time? Who the hell would everyone go ballistic at on this forum then?

Oh I suppose there's always Park.

I'm actually glad Anderson's gone missing in recent weeks. It's allowed us to play Scholes, and our team looks a much stronger and more fluid unit as a result.
Anderson is simply too unpredictable, I doubt we'd have managed a similar result if he was in the team yesterday; we'd not have been able to retain possession and dictate the game which Scholes and Carrick so expertly did.

Carrick and Fletcher are both far more complete midfielders than Anderson and should start ahead of Anderson in all big games.

When Scholes is on form he's the best midfielder in our squad. The fact that all three of them have played - and played well - against City/Arsenal is as much of a factor in our renaissance as the form of Rooney and Nani.

The thing is, Scholes will be given a break soon and we can't pick Fletcher and Carrick in every remaining game this season.

We will need Anderson to contribute, sooner rather than later. I just hope this mini-break has the same galvanising effect on him that it did on Nani. If "the penny drops" for Anderson too (and stays dropped for Nani) we're hot favourites to win the league IMO.
