Barclays Premier League
The Emirates Stadium
KO: 1600 BST

It's all about the guard of honor isn't it. Obviously would love the win just to feck with Arsenals CL hopes.

Start van Persie for the guard of honour. Substitute him after 30 seconds for Hernandez/Welbeck.

Would like to see Powell come off the bench.

De Gea

Rafael-------Rio-------Jones---------Evra

Carrick--------Cleverley

Valencia-------Rooney--------Welbeck

Van Persie

This is a meaningful game for Arsenal and we have no reason to rest players. We should play a strong team.

I'd like to see Powell get 30 minutes or so though.

Time to roll Evra out for his annual dig at Arsenal..
Something about Robin finally getting a medal would do nicely..

A few plans for this game.

I hope we don't do a guard of honour - it's all become a bit cliche. I'd rather we did it at the end than at the beginning, if anything. I find it's a bit indicative of society as a whole - it's all about the praise and adulation now, as opposed to the actual achievement.

Needless to say, you've not got much to play for now so I hope we do to you what Spurs did to City, and show we want it more.

Phil Dowd officiating means that United might actually concede their first penalty this season. He loves them.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Lindegaard. He needs two more games to get a medal.

Lindegaard should get a medal regardless if he makes ten games, he is a keeper.

Let's keep De Gea to make more clean sheets.

No it hasn't. Like the handshake it is a sign of respect for your opponent. If you can form a guard of honor, appreciate your opponents success and shake their hand then you're a bigger team of men than those who cant.

I hope Arsenal do and it will be a sign from Wenger that he still believes in the tradition of good wholesome football.

As long as Arsenal finish in the Champions League at the expense of Chelsea they can have 3 points here from me.

Full strength team but with some youngsters (Powell, Januzaj maybe) getting 20 minutes or so if we're ahead. They can have more serious opportunities in the last two games of the season.

Pretty conflicted about the game, though. In comparison to the likes of Chelsea and City, I like Arsenal, and they're the team I most like to see succeed in the CL apart from us. So I don't like the idea of knocking them out.

That said, watching RVP get a guard of honour and then missing out on the CL could do wonders with regards to dislodging Wilshere, so...

Team should be...

GK: DDG

RB: Rafael
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LB: Evra

RM: Valencia
CM: Jones
CM: Carrick
LM: Kagawa

CF: Rooney
CF: RVP

Subs: Lindegaard, Evans, Cleverley, Giggs, Nani, Welbeck, Hernandez

I want that points record!!

Then don't start Jones in midfield. Our best player ever or not, Arsenal's three will run rings round him. Cleverley, Carrick and Rooney bossed their midfield last time, so why not get them to do it again?

DDG
Rafa Rio Vidic Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Welbeck Kagawa Rooney
RVP

Hernandez would be perfect to start against Chelsea, so we don't need to worry about squeezing him in. Valencia's had loads of games, so it's surely time for Welbeck to get a look in. And it's not as if Arsenal have loads of width to negate down that flank. Kagawa's shown more than enough to keep that number 10 slot ahead of Rooney, and I think the extra space out a bit wider will suit Rooney too. Plus he can help Evra out with the Sagna-Walcott threat.

Both of you are lunatics.

Nani has done well against Arsenal in the past but his chances of starting are practically none. I actually think Fergie might play Jones in midfield in the hope his energy will see him get about Cazorla.

SAF mentioned something yesterday about players like Hernandez and Nani being involved in the remaining games so they feel they've played a real part or something. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Rooney in CM experiment continue, he did a good job nullifying Arteta at OT.

Yeah but he did that from the more advanced (behind RVP) position. If he plays like a typical CM then he won't get into Arteta's face that much

Would rather Cleverley get some more experience in midfield rather than playing Rooney out of position there.
