we obviously lack a proper midfield and add to that expreiments...well..
still we have some great players...just need to play as a team...with that one crucial signing in summer...back to the good ol days..

Agree. Scoring 3 against Blackburn should be enough for a win - it only wasn't due to our charitable defense. Hopefully they got it all out of their system in this match.

Smith and Fletcher for the most have been better than average...Fletch still cannot run things on his own...yet.
but having said that I still feel we will be no worse than 3rd...probably 2nd.
Liverpoool have some tough matches to get through...and the games are coming on fast...Ok for all the teams at the top...but the lads will get it right...
the spirit is there...and Ruud Rooney...and Saha are better than any....

Rio (although playing in midfield) and Van Der Sar not communicating, and Brown needlesly sticking BOTH arms behind his back to catch the ball.
I thought we did show alot of character tonight after those mistakes. Rooney was a bit quiet but Saha was immense and full of confidence I thought.
Vidic looked a little wary at times but you could see the Premiership unpolished ability he has got.

As far as I'm concerned VDS didn't f up. If it was GK ball then Rio should have left it, otherwise he should haveheaded it 20 yards upfield. There is no excuse to blindly head it towards his own goal.
