Blackpool vs. Manchester United

Fantastic comeback, Giggs and Hernandez made the difference to our play, ballsy on Fergie's part to take Rooney off for Chicharito but the boy wonder did him proud, great touch and finish for his goal.

Berbatov took both his goals really well and showed the kind of fight that has turned his career at Untied around, his first was the kind of poachers goal he'd have not even made the run for last season and the clinical quality of his 2nd showed how confident he is now.

I still feel we look really open in midfield though, at times they were running 30 yards without a tackle. Thankfully they were pretty much out of steam so we weren't punished.

The penalty was debatable, I'd have been claiming for it had it been at the other end. ;)

Hope young Raf is ok, it looked a nasty one.

I missed some parts of the second half, why was Rooney taken off and how did the Rafael incident appear?

Rooney was so shit.

I really want Hernandez to start alongside Berbatov v Aston Villa.

I wouldn't mind that. I'd like to see Rooney in Scholes old position of AM. He has the work rate unlike some in the midfield today. He back tracks and can tackle as well a deliver the deadly pass. It beats playing him out wide.

Need to make changes for the FA Cup game ... something like:

Kuszczak/Lindegaard
Neville
Brown
Evans
Fabio
Giggs (c)
Anderson
O'Shea
Obertan
Hernandez
Owen

Include Ferdinand or Carrick if fit.

Is this the longest matchday thread of the season? At least it is in the recent past.

We're still up for an immortal honour.

Preston have named an entire stand as the invincibles and apparently have the right to wear their home colours at away matches.

How cool would that be?
