Another tough away game? Well atleast we are getting these out of our way soon.

Bah, it seems like we always get a bad result away from home when its an early kick off.. Does anyone actually have any stats on that?

Yep. It's going to be a difficult one to win. I know we'll score plenty, but what worries me is our shaky defense

Team should be...

GK: VDS

RB: O'Shea
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LB: Evra

RM: Nani
CM: Fletcher
CM: Gibson
LM: Giggs

CF: Rooney
CF: Berbatov

Subs: PIG, Evans, Rafael, Scholes, Park, Owen, Hernandez

Going for a comfortable 3-0. Berbatov among the scorers

Sunday AGAIN. This conflicts with the Grand Prix :(

And we're going out for lunch, birthday in the family! Tough choices...

Team selection will be a little unpredictable I reckon, will be near full strength but with an eye on Wednesday against Valencia:

van der Sar

Rafael
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra

Nani
Fletcher
Scholes
Giggs

Rooney
Berbatov

SUBS: Kuszczak, O'Shea, Smalling, Anderson, Park, Owen, Hernandez.

I suppose any of Evra, Scholes and Giggs could be rested and any on the bench put in their place, which I'd be fairly comfortable with. I imagine they'll all start on Wednesday too, so it will be interesting.

.................VDS

Wes......Vidic......Rio......Evra

Nani..Fletcher..Scholes..Obertan

.......Rooney.......Berba

Subs; PIG, Rafael, O'Shea, Evans, Anderson, Giggs, Owen

We'll crumble in the last 10 minutes again :(

Rubbish that its on ESPN too, bring back Prem Plus!

Waking up at 7 cocking am to watch United game is not a right idea of a fun Sunday.

VDS

Rafael
Rio
Vidic
Evra

Nani
Scholes
Fletch
Park

Berbatov
Rooney

Subs: Kusz, O'Shea, Evans, Anderson, Giggs, Owen, Hernandez

3-0 Berbatov x 3

Kuszczak

G. Neville
Ferdinand
Vidic (c)
Evra

Fletcher
Scholes
O'Shea
Nani

Rooney
Berbatov

:D

Maybe this is the game where we make a gain on Chelsea's minute lead. 3-1 prediction, Berbatov to grab 1 and keep the good work up.

Bolton seem to be at least trying to play football under Coyle which should play into our hands, because quite simply we're better than them at it.

I think Rio will be preferred to Evans as he should be stronger against the physical Davies and Elmander. I'd fancy rafael against the pacy petrov and think both he and nani could team up effectively against the shocking Robinson. On the left I'd chance Obertan (especially after seeing he only had a brief runout tonight) against Steinsson who wont be getting forward exposing him defensively much. Upfront Rooney and Berbatov are certs and Scholes will probably get an hour ahead of the Valencia trip because I don't think we can be too confident of any of our alternatives at the minute.

VDS

Rafael
Rio
Vidic (c)
Evra

Nani
Scholes
Fletcher
Obertan

Rooney
Berbatov

Pig, Smalling, O'Shea, Anderson, Giggs, Owen, Macheda

I hope we start with fletcher and Gibson in the center of midfield and maybe smalling could partner vidic at the back. Games at the reebok are always going to be physical. I think Owen might start as well.

Bolton have had a surprisingly good start but we have a very good record at the Reebok and I think we'll win this one quite comfortably. Hopefully the renaissance of Berbatov will continue, he has a good record against them.

Bearing in mind we travel to Valencia midweek in a game we really need to get a result from, I'd like to see something like this.

van der Sar
Rafael Vidic Ferdinand Evra
O' Shea Fletcher Giggs
Nani Berbatov Rooney

Subs: PIG, Smalling, Evans, Anderson, Scholes, Macheda, Owen.

Prediction: 0-2

VDS

Brown
Rio
Vidic
Evra

Nani
Anderson
Fletcher
Giggs

Rooney
Berbatov

SUBS: PIG, O'Shea, Evans, Scholes, Park, Owen, Hernandez

Anderson to come in for Scholes to give him some continuity and more game time

Can I please make a request that all match day threads inc. information as to the channel it is being shown on; In this case ESPN? Coverage from 11:00 Kick off at 12 noon etc?

With Cahill out I think we'll get a good result here. Rooney always seems to do well at the Reebok too, didn't he end a goal drought here last time by scoring his hat trick (2 seasons ago I think)

We lost here a few seasons back. It's important that we don't get overconfident because they have a couple of dangerous players.

We cained them at the Reebok last time and have a good record there, generally. We tend to get a lot of goals against them too.

I'd go for:

PIG
Brown
Rio
Smalling
Rafael
Park
Gisbon
Anderson
Hernandez
Owen
Macheda

Subs: VDS, O'Shea, Obertan, De Laet, C. Evans, Bebe, Eikrem

bite bite BITE!

I thought you were serious until I got up to Owen and realized it was last nights lineup.

I'm predicting a 4-1 to us for this. Berbatov x 2, Scholes x 1 and Rooney x 1. With Elmander scoring for them for a consolation in the last 10 minutes.

I'd go for:

PIG
Brown
Rio
Smalling
Rafael
Park
Gisbon
Anderson
Hernandez
Owen
Macheda

Subs: VDS, O'Shea, Obertan, De Laet, C. Evans, Bebe, Eikrem

bite bite BITE!

There are a lot of goals in that team. Hernandez might be dodgy on the wing.

van der Sar
O'Shea Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Nani Fletcher Scholes Giggs
Berbatov Rooney
--
Kuszczak; Rafael, Evans; Gibson, Park; Hernandez, Owen

Bolton 0-2 Man Utd

Most likely O'shea will start as RB, and Ferdinand-Vidic CB.

Our line-up won't change much, less formation changes in my opinion.
Valencia's absence really brings a troubling decision of choices.

-------------------------Van Der Saar--------------------

---O Shea-----------Vidic---------Rio--------------Evra--

--Nani------------Scholes------Fletcher-----------Giggs--

------------------Rooney---Berbetov---------------------

Prediction:0-2 away victory. Rooney 2

Sucks that this is a 12:00 kick off.
