@Don't Kill Bill

I'm so out of touch with what, you're too transparent old chap

You think people say that in the UK now?

You have been away a very long time and you are French now. You can't come back, things have changed and so have you. All the things you think you know about the UK are wrong outdated and misinformed.

Good luck being French I hope it works out for you but stop pretending you know jack shit about living in the UK now because you lived here once a long, long time ago.

Are you on a wind up Don't Kill Bill?

If not, who made you the spokesman for the 'Brexit underclass' (what a fecking horrible term btw for whoever coined that).

You are being a complete ass for no real reason to multiple posters.

He can come back, whenever he wants. Unless, of course you and the underclass you appear to understand and represent decided through democratic vote that crossing the channel alters your citizenship.

Oh, and I grew up in a council estate in Glasgow and have been known to say "Old Chap", old chap.

Wow, you're understandably the exact reason why he doesn't want to come back.

Problem is, you're speculating on what could happen. Wasn't the economy supposed to crumble and fall when the vote was revealed on 24th June? Wasn't recession and misery forecast? Didn't happen did it? Problem is, no one knows whats going to happen, not you, not me, no one.

The main econonic damage preducted is as a result of leaving. You haven't left yet, or even triggered article 50.

There are small short lived marsupial mice who have never seen anywhere apart from the Simpson Desert who know Brexit is a silly idea.

@Don't Kill Bill, our "two houses in two countries" wouldn't add up to the value of a tiny flat in the Home Counties. oates had a childhood where there was no inside toilet, in the 1960s. We both come from working-class families. I know what it's like to go hungry because I had no money. You're making a few assumptions about our life experiences based on where we are in our 50s.

Yes because they have been fed misinformation, they had no idea what they were voting for, as I said a long time ago, this shouldn't have gone to a referendum, how can someone with so little knowledge vote for a history changing event like this - absolutely ridiculous
Aw poor thing

Firstly, i don't think these comparisons between Brexit and Nazi Germany do Remain posters here any credit whatsoever.
Sorry Nick, I might have mentioned it once but thought I'd got away with it. At least we know who you are now and your Great Britishness is certifiable without a shadow of a doubt.

Secondly, the Guardian's article clearly stated that Mr Phillips resigned for reasons pre-dating the A50 court case. The other professed reasons are not particularly logical mind you, and his citing of the child refugee issue i found particularly odd.

Yes, he stated he thought the best route for Britain was to pursue a Norwegian style trade approach with the EU and he was horrified that the Tories now seemed to be putsching the country in the direction of a hard Brexit with all the potentially damaging consequences that entailed. He was a member of the Leave campaign within parliament, if he believed we were heading for a soft Brexit model then clearly his ballot form wasn't as well written as yours either. As for his mention of child refugees, it shows even a Tory can grow a heart, there might still be hope for you yet.

Some of the remain posts sound so hate filled its unreal, these are the clever Oxbridge chaps innit?

I think you’ll find this thread is full of assumptions.

To label the likes of me a knuckle dragging racist while i am doing better than a fair few, and being so far.off the mark, is just laughable. Thats why its hard to take them seriously.

Please dont try and pretend hypocrisy is at play here.

My hatred for some eu figures has never been somehing i have tried to hide.

That was the most hateful post i read in this thread and it doesnt come from a remainer. It reminds me of a scene from a film about nazism.

So get off your high horse and stop playing the victim.

To be objective, some of the remain side comments are pretty hate filled too. Really not keen on all this condescending nonsense that all of the leave camp are uneducated reactionaries. It is sweeping attitudes such as these that make some remainers look conceited and frankly arrogant.

It's not a change in tone thought is it?

Have a word with your mates as they seem to be changing theirs.

Nazism

Indeed it does

They have turned into the very people they describe as exit voters

Ill try to find the film scene. You should be ashamed of that post but instead youre playing the victim card. With so many people having your same attitude no wonder why the world is in shambles

Not exactly, you could see the same type of comments fairly early. Which is why the referendum was a stupid idea from the start it has been a battle between british people about their lives as a nation and as individuals in the UK.

You needed general elections but instead opted for a EU referendum.

It's because of a number of EUtopia figure heads that the EU is a shambles. Ashamed of that post, why should I be?

So youre expecting people who know better to simply accept this loony decision which will impact the country economy for years with a smile on their face not to hurt the brexiteers sensitive nature? Brexit was stupid. It was built on lies and xenophobia and the consequences of it will have a big impact on the economy for years to come. The brexiteers have no plan on how to move forward hence why they would like to avoid parliamentary scrutinity. Is that too hateful to accept?

Voted for a referendum and that's what voters wanted. I have no sympathy.

Because you would like to throw a disabled person off his stairs, thats why. Then you have the cheek to complain about the remainers hatred. Jeez

Words fail me

It shouldn't. Im no expert but time and time again ive been reading the so called brexit experts comment and ending asking myself if they are for real. They might be bright in their line but they got no idea of how the eu work. Which is a bit of a problem since the uk is determined to get a deal with eu. Same thing about this matter. Is it that difficult to understand that royal prerogative is not enough to leave the eu? Im no brit and yet i knew it. Its called common sense

Its not his disability that i hate

Lets face it, somebody already tried to kill him for some reason

I don't understand why would have sympathy?

And voters wanted to vote and express their anger, it could have been all sorts of vote, leaving the EU isn't going to fix any of their problems. And if immigration was such a problem for the pro brexit politicians, they would have already triggered the art.50, now we all know that it wasn't the issue, they just wanted to put themselves in a more powerful position.

... Blame the victim...

Could you at the very least form a coherent argument for your hatred of Schäuble?

Proclaiming that you hate him doesn't count. Neither does stating that he's evil or any other lunatic bs like "he's ruined greece"

well blame the man and the party that delivered you this on a plate

can I take it that not a single person in the 48% minority will vote tory next time?

Once bitten twice shy and all that

Yes, his comments and views on struggling Eurozone countries were disgusting.
