Why do we play chadwick so much, has stewart don well today, im hopin he'll get some more games, seen him play a few times and he looks impressive, dunno what he's like today though, obviously.
Is the legend maysie playin well?.
He made all 2 of our goals at pool, sittin on the bench, made dudek and pool defence go wobbley at the knee's, LEGEND

Stewart did well IMO, but he's just gone off for Scholesy. Maysie's been Maysie - a maldini clone at the back. All class.

Danny Pugh just missed another GREAT chance.

Thats what the Germans said.....

It's a bit of a poofy sign really, they've got two bloody big lions wafting a flippin rose at this Hitler salute.

Maysie is man of the match.. what do you expect ? ;)

Phil gets a boot in the gut from one of their players. No booking of course.

HAVE IT!!

Ole buries a great shot in the roof of the net from a good assist from Chadders.

carefull with the blood pressure old boy

Diego off to rapturous applause.

Ryan comes on for a quick stretch of his legs.

be nice if one of the young boys got one...., but as long as it's another for us us, I don't care if Victoria Beckham scores it.... ;)

ta thanks...., yeah this is making it a perfect day.. took future in-laws out to lunch to ask for the ol' hand in marrage... so I think this win will put me over.. might need a stay in the hospital... :)

fecking hell

Pugh misses his third great chance from the exact same spot!

But Giggsy missed the best chance of that move.

Maysie just kicked one of their players in the head.

Yep, he's still got it all right.

Chris Kamara names Wes as MOM.

Final score: 2-0

We're on for the quadruple  now??

And as if we didn't need any more convincing that Giggsy isn't a striker....

Good result in a difficult fixture. And most importantly no new injury problems which, with our record this season is a fecking miracle.
John O'Shea's header proved that he may be turning into a great defensive player for us but in front of goal????
On the serious side - Danny Pugh played well even if, with a bit more composure, he could have scored atlest 1 or 2.
Diego - Worked his socks off again and took his goal well.
Wes & David May - after a dodgy start looked solid, nice to see another option developing.

Finally to anyone who went to the match, was well impressed that you out sung the Burnley crowd for most of the match, even at the start.

Good workout for the boys. Thought Pugh did well could have had a hat-trick. I like Michael Stewart I'm sure he's gonna be a star. Bloody Chadders shoulder charging people what's going on? And what the heck was Giggsy doing, taking the piss? No injuries but another bloody game in the Christmas period. Maybe the Quadruple is on!!

Oh and the remarks above re those of you at the game coming over loud and clear on Sky, hats of to you, fantastic support as usual at the away games. Didn't hear many Dudek songs, did they turn the sound down at that point?

As for Burnley, what sort of contract is their centre forward on? Did Fergie talk to him after the game?

:D

Positive points: We have no new injury and Forlan & Ole continue to prove their excellent form.

O'Shea playing in midfield surprised me a bit. But then it may be because SAF thought playing in this position can help O'Shea learn more things, such as passing and ability to read the game.

Of the three youngsters, Chadwick was still the best one. Though his physical side was still doubtful, at least his passing has improved and so was his stamina. There is still a chance that he may become a good cover player for us. Stewart was just average. At 22 he should start looking for another club. I watched Pugh a few times but he never impressed me, and this time there was no exception.

Oh, come on he's just back from injury... I thought he did ok. If he's not going to make it at United I believe it will be because we have quite a few good CMs.

Compare him to our opponent and he is no big different from most of the players in the opposite side. Except he can make a very big progress during this season, he'll finally end up in a team such as WBA or Boro at best.

I think if Stewart hadn't been injured recently he would have been the natural player to put in the first team as the defensive midfielder. Last night after a slow start he did the simple things well and also got forward for a couple of shots. It would be a mistake to move him on IMO.
