Martin - Ronaldinho's style and finesse, mixed with Keane's tenacity........Actually now I think about it, he's probably slightly better than Platini ever was, and at 17/18 that's decent.

dangercat said:Quinton Fortune, meanwhile, ends a two-year exile from international football in Tunisia. United manager Sir Alex Ferguson reportedly wasn't keen on releasing Fortune for South Africa's friendly in Tunis on Wednesday.
But coach Stuart Baxter has used the fact that Wednesday is an offical date designated by Fifa for international friendlies to demand that Fortune play. Quinton plays for his country for the first time in two years following a dispute with former coach Ephraim Mashaba.

French Henry said:I've always thought that Fletcher looked a real prospect in the centre.....Seems like a lot of you lot don't rate him though.
RedDeviluk said:the thing is, Fletcher never plays in the middle, he always seems to play on the right and does very poorly
also his touch on the ball is very poor, and his passing isnt very good, ive seen him enough to write him off, he fecks up alot of chances and i dont think he is Man Utd Quality
Same situation as Chadwick, played a few games for us, Fergy tried his hardest for him to improve but couldnt cut it, Fletcher will soon head the same way as Chadwick in 2-3 years time
dangercat said:might have to play him soon with all the injuries etc.. lets hope he doesnt get injured

If you think his touch and passing are poor, you don't know much about football.
Trippin_Stoned said:Listen to him RedDevil, I've had this discussion before with him. He knows everything
He also said I didn't know much about football.
Flecther is rubbish, my main problem with him is his passing (gives away too much) and the speed in which it takes him to get the ball under control, be it on the right or centre of midfield.
But then again I know nothing![]()

I only managed to watch the 2nd half, but it was a great game to watch, Djordic looked quite good, got a bloody good shot on him. Bellion failed to impress me. Richardson was 50/50, didn't look good at taking men on. David Jones looks a very good player, very good on the ball and has great vision. Spector is a star of the future. 2nd half MOTM I'd go for Eagles, who looked the part.

richardson took players on all game sending over many good crosses and even looked did ok for last 15 min at LB, I know Bellion is not a favourite but last night he showed the difference between the PL and The rest being head and shoulders above any of the Burnley lads produced a great return pass for Phils goal, when he ran at them he looked good and I do not remember more than a couple of misplaced passes during his 65 mins. All the youngsters look good players but then they will be otherwise they would not be at the club.
Number7 said:Richardson did nothing wrong at all and didn't play too bad, but I can't remember off the top of my head him putting in any decent crosses, but as you said he played LB for a while. I'm sure I'll see the replay on MUTV some time this week though, so I'll take a closer look.
Bellion may have shown some good touches, but on the whole, I still was not impressed with him at all, and that's not just because I think he's crap in the league, I generally thought he was average. Run's past one, past two, refuses to pass, gets tackled, falls over. One on one with the Gk, hits shot wide etc. As I said, I didn't catch the first half, did Kieron play the first half?
