Burton Albion v. Manchester United

State of the pitch aside, Burton were the better in the 1st half and defended well in the second. They deserved the replay. Kudos to them

Aren't we nice to non league clubs eh? So charitable! How much are they going to pocket now? Milion quid ish? :)
Heard Exeter got around £300k from the two games last year

They're accustomed to playing on surfaces like that, and they were on the back foot for the majority of the game.

You're not very good at wind ups Nathan, you make DJS look sharp.

What wind up?

You were shite, fact.

Not a wind up to be seen, it's as black and white as they come.

You're making yourself look a right twat...

Its the truth, your full strength side were useless yesterday for most of the game.
Our reserves did ok today, had enough to win but didnt.

VanNistelrater said:
Nate, give up. Seriously, you look like an idiot trying to impress.

You're a nice bloke but you cant do wind ups.

I can't do wind ups, ok fair enough.

I blame the pitch.

It was always going to depend on who can win the most in the air, and we dont have particularly good aerial presence.

I saw the result coming a mile off, as French Henry said, the pitch levels things up completely.

Not when you have Rooney on the bench.

You should have won, you know it, I know it.

To even hint it wasn't a joke makes you look a cnut.

Fair play to them, no excuse, just suck it up.

What type?

suede ones with leather soles?

That's just plain wrong.

Leather I think. I did have some Pierre Cardin's I bought in Thailand. I got my current pair in Prague.

Murt, you've been rubbish.

You should have won this, you look like mugs.

Don't be unkind Nate! Murt isn't rubbish.

United were though.

You don't wear trouser as well?

Thailand. Are the girls there fit and cheap?

Of course we should have won, we're the better team, and we were the better team.

But the pitch made it impossible to move the ball about, so it was always going to be in the air a lot.

Im not actually that bothered to be honest.

Burton derserved to have a rematch at Old Trafford. We didn't play well but it will be a different story when we play them at home.

Agree with VN - not too bothered. We're not going to have fixture pile ups this season so an extra game will not adversly affect us.

I don't think Fergie should have played the team he did - whenever he makes wholesale changes it affects the team's play. But I'm sure he won't do that at Old Trafford and we'll field something more closely resembling our first team.

Not a big problem.

The romace of the cup has gone since we pulled out in 2000

The romance of the cup as gone because the gap between smaller and larger clubs keeps growing. But on todays showing i'm not so sure.

Well done Murt, your lads held them.....and forced a replay
