They(Arsenal) defended well. Can't fault Besiktas for that.
Confirmed by Wilshere. He slipped and made contact. You can clearly see on the replay, too. The back of the guy's heel hits the inside of Wilshere's knee as he's drawing back to shoot. As I said before, it's impossible for the guy to dive when the tackle is coming from behind him like that.

I'm glad its not just me, he was woeful first leg and I threw my arms in the air when he was coming on tonight. Must be someone's kid, cousin or nephew.
What a game though, I feel physically and emotionally drained and I didn't even care if Arsenal or Besiktas qualified. How must the Arsenal players be feeling?

Arsenal simply don't have it in them to win CL (near future). If that's how they play against Besiktas (no disrespect), I see no chance for them against power houses of Europe. Whatever you guys say, I simply don't consider Arsenal/City among Europe's elite clubs. They may have fan following, money and some big names, but they just don't have the pedigree or mentality to challenge the big boys. It may change in future, but that would be an exception rather than norm. Chelsea definitely with their manager and team should be one of teams to beat.
