And they just bought Aboubakar from Lorient. Clasie also rumoured. They still have Adrián from Atlético on the bench. Hard to compete against this level of spending. My only hope was that Lopetegui would be a flop, another Paulo Fonseca. Doesn´t look likely.
I think the first 20 minutes were great, obviously unsustainable the whole match, but a good sign of what we can do with such amounts of talent. Not used to seeing so many skilled players at the same time. Herrera the weakest link apart from defense...
Apart from Aboubakar, we spent exactly the same amount as last season, including what we paid from loans. The rest was good business with funds and loaning clubs.

They were battering Maribor for the first 15 minutes of the half. Had all the play and hit the woodwork.
