Yaaas Broncos!
A Classico final would be shite, there would be more rolling around, waving of imaginary cards and general douchebaggery than there would football.
100% This.I would hate El Classico in SF or F. We'd see bunch of drama queens rolling, diving, kicking, arguing with each other.
Circus.
CheersTomorrow at 11am BST.
SF1: Juventus - Real
SF2: Barcelona - Bayern
Final: Barcelona - Juventus
Winner: Barcelona
Is what I'm hoping for.
I'd love to see that from a tactical point of view. How would two most possession oriented teams in Europe cope with each other? It'll either be a 50-50 match or one of the two will have the minority of the ball for the first time in ages. Either way, it'd be really interesting.Bayern vs Barcelona would be brilliant.
Barca in the semifinal, Real in the final please. That would be nice.
Because it'll be awesome to watch 180 minutes of those two teams against each other. It's the most exciting possible match-up between all 4 semifinalists. And I'd prefer a final against Real. We never had that and it's long overdue. Don't really care about Juventus, we don't have a meaningful history with them. It's fine if we play them, but it's not as exciting as playing Real and Barca.Out of curiosity, why would you want to play us?
Either way a lot of potentially interesting stories. Pep vs Barca, pep vs Madrid who he has tormented, or the Classico itself.
I wouldnt be so sure..Don't wanna have Juve. I want revenge against Real and then play Juve and crush their dreams, again. Sad thing is that Juve doesn't have any chance over 180 minutes against any of the other teams.
As much as I hate Juventus to say they didnt deserve it its a bit odd. They've been very good in CL this season and they deserve to be where they are. They don't deserve to be where they are and they know it. After years (more than a decade, actually) of shitty performances in the Champions League they've got two lucky draws in a row, there isn't much more to them. With Chelsea a few years back, you always knew they had experience and, in theory, class. Except their midfield three, Juve got neither.
You can only hope your players wont think this way and underestimate Juventus if they draw them like you're doing right now. They have been good? When and where? Against a Monaco side which just stumbled in the quarters with blind luck and the opponents incompetence? Against a injury-ridden Dortmund in the worst state in years? The group stage hasn't been all that good to, drawing and losing against Atletico and losing against Piräus, too. How is this a good campaign?

I agree that Juve are by some margin the weakest side in the competition, the other three are well ahead of the rest of Europe at the moment so it's not surprising that a favourite is amongst them. I just don't find it impossible that Juventus could fluke a victory in a semi, they are decent defensively and good on the counter which is bound to cause you trouble if luck is on their side. They would probably have the best chance against Real Madrid who like the hit teams on the counter themselves and the worst against Barcelona who are used to teams who sit back against them.Probably misleading. I just wanna have Juve in the final and ideally Real now, but would take Barca too. There's just no way Juve will wait for us in Berlin.

I worded it wrongly I guess. They will need a good amount of luck to beat any of the other team though IMO, in all honesty. Why would a victory by Juventus be a fluke?

Honestly, any final not involving Juve will most likely be really interesting.
I was wrong about Bayern, even with their key injuries they really are one of the top 3 teams in the world.
It's all very nice to win the FA Cup, but when was the last time Arsenal got even close to the PL, never mind the CL? Also, they always go on a run some time during the season and fall apart again eventually.Well Arsenal are finally winning trophies again and look at their attack now with Carzola, Sanchez, Ozil, Walcott etc, add a top class striker and they have a brilliant attacking line which would score against anyone. Also when was the last time Arsenal have put a run together this good? A cdm and a striker and they will be up there.
Chelsea just need depth, they have a brilliant starting 11, they choked this year but that happens and Mourinho will definitely make the CL his priority next season.
