Nerves only getting worse right now...

I have a very bad feeling ATM.

:nervous:x1000

we controlled the game up to the penalty, which was a difficult call.
afterwards there was nothing in attack.
Chelsea shaded the 1st half. overall deserve the lead.

Come on guys, that was a penalty.

I disagree. 0-0 would be fair after that half. Chelsea created more chances, but nothing that good.

We defended pretty well, Chelsea only got a couple of half chances. Ruud needs more support though, and Diego should be making more runs off him.

Watch it again... he sticks his leg in, pushes the ball away, and Cole dives before Keane's trailing leg comes anywhere near him.

Initially, I would've said no, but on the replay, Keano got the player, so it was a penalty IMO.

Still, another half to go yet, and to be fair, we've looked solid at the back, but so have Chelsea.

Should be an interesting half.

...and watching it again, it doesn't look like Keane touched him at all anyway.

Of course it was a penalty, but it should've been retaken, Mutu was three yards into the box when Lampard hit the ball. But I guess that rule only counted for a few weeks.

We're not playing well at all. Started good for the first quarter but after that Chelsea has dominated. They might get tired though, not used to matches as intensive as this one. What I feel we are lacking most of all is an attacking midfielder, whenever Keano or Phil has the ball the only options they have is to play it to the winger or a long ball to Ruud or Diego, perhaps Diego should play deeper.

Come on BB, you're sounding like :wenger: now.

Watch it again mate. If there was contact, it surely wasn't enough to bring Cole down.

I tried convincing myself that we have a good excuse in case we lose, but the bloody replay showed Keane never touched the ball.

obviously it was, he clearly caught his backleg

What a fecking shite match. I want to just forget this ever happened. :(

can't believe we didn't have a chance in the entire game.

all over,

a scorelessdraw would have been right but it was decided by a jammy penalty.

Shit happens, Chelsea will start believing the hype and have to face up to being champion contenders.
The race is still on
