Chelsea v Manchester United 12/01/05

FT :Excellent result and performance. No need for an apology this time SAF.:D

it seems ronaldo, rooney and saha had good games.. but how was fletcher?

Away goal is apply in the carling cup? if thats the case, we have to go all out to win at OT. 3 straight goalless draw now.

i thought he did great. Simple game of his, simple passes but to good effect. played defensively in midfield.

did Gazza play?
from BBC - ''Substitute Jiri Jarosik almost wins it for the hosts in the closing minutes but Gary Neville clears the shot off the line'' :smirk:

Well played Mancs....I look forward to the 2nd leg at your place. Hopefully we can score early at Old Trafford and then force you to attack and hit you on the break! ;) Robben will also be back in action!

Good match.

Good match.

So will Giggs, but I think we will play an under strength side again, should be good enough to take care of Chelski.

Away goals, as far as I know, don't count after 90 minutes in the second leg, but I think they came to force after 120 (or is that only in division 1 playoffs?). Anyhow, if the 90 minutes at OT end with a score draw, it's definately extra time.

Scholes 2nd touch was a brilliant through ball into the box for Saha, but for the rest of the match it seemed no one could hit scholes on the run! WTF. We gave up possession too much, although we played pretty well.
