Chelsea vs. Manchester United

if only i could put my foot down the commentators throat...fecking dickless homer.

Fuming after that. Poor performance in the 2nd half and the referee was a joke but why the hell do our players just lose their fecking minds? Giggs hacks someone down, how is that going to help? Vidic gets away with a red card only for him to try again and now misses the Liverpool game. It's one thing losing this one but don't go making the next one harder.

I don't give a flying shit what anybody says, we did not deserve to lose that match. I'd have happily taken a 1-1 draw at the time, and if we happened to get the winner then brilliant. Once again we've been done at Stamford Bridge, and by the same bloody referee.

Fuming isn't even half of what I'm feeling right now.

I was pissed off half an hour ago but couldn't get on the Caf, now I'm just numb. Exciting end to end game, some despicable cheats on Chelsea's side, we deserved a point, our best away performance of the season.

A lot of incredibly bad decisions.

I said in the 'elbow' thread I expected a refereeing backlash; and we certainly got one. Atkinson gave us absolutely feck all.

I don't think we helped ourselves though. The Giggs, Berba sub seemed to put us on the back foot.

Hernandez, although out of the game for long spells was still have an impact on the game.
Chelsea's defense had to sit deep to compensate, and
Cole had less licence to get forward. With Berba up there instead Chelsea were able to approach the game differently. I'm not a fan of Giggs running the attack either.

Thought we squandered several opportunities too.

Ref was shit, but I'm not sure we did ourselves any favours

Cheating Cheating cnuts... not only have they dived their to victory after postponing the original fixture to suit them but they for all their rolling around have made it incredibly difficult against the mickies now next weekend. I am feckin livid at the moment

Well, the officials were not exactly at their best, no!

I didn't see anyone complaining after the dozens of games in which we have benefited from dodgy refereeing.

It's probably about right that we've been shafted good and proper on such a big night. The balance has been restored.

Let's all have a nice cup of tea and get over it.

If you want to see a pack of cheating cnuts, you need only take a look at the likes of Rooney and Nani. The bitter whinging and hypocrisy on the Caf tonight is getting embarrassing.

Martin Atkinson is the worst ref in the league along with Mike Dean. He screwed us over last season and again this season. We lost by the same scoreline again.

Oh feck off.

This is natural for people to rant on here especially after a loss. Don't take all the comments seriously. This is the way people cool off.

Right, only the referees who screw over whoever we're playing can be described as good referees. How could I forget.

I'm not taking it too seriously, I just think it's a bit stupid.

We won't win the league on this evidence

I actually think we will now. More sure after tonight than I was before. Think the players will be fecked off after this and really up for it. They also played better tonight than they have nearly all season.

No, but people will admit we've been lucky if we get dodgy decisions. You take it, but you know you've gotten lucky. To suffer a defeat like this for the 2nd time in a row at Stamford Bridge is hard to take, especially when we didn't deserve to lose the match.

If you don't want to read what we're saying (and moaning about), then log off and go to bed.

Vidic off.

Good call.

"Good call"? is that how you react when a United player gets sent off? did you do a lap of honour round your living room?

Your clearly not a United supporter or some luke warm bandwagon-jumper

Jeez some of the dicks on here

I can appreciate a good refereeing decision when I see it.

Absolutely gutted after tonight's result, really down about it. If we'd got beat and beaten well then fair enough by to have a good first half, look comfortable and be leading and lose coupled with them winning because of the penalty (rightly or wrongly) just is a proper kick in the teeth. Feels up there with the Old Trafford 4-1 to Liverpool this one. Felt we deserved a draw IMO, two good goals and a better half to each team.

Agree with those who say we have to take the bad decisions tonight because we've had some come our way this season, however its just that it has the feeling that the ref was always going to turn us down for things after all the furore over Rooney.

Going to be tough now what with Liverpool away next and Arsenal away down the line, that game will be huge.
