Chivas vs Manchester United - Pre season friendly

Its been a great workout for the lads.
However, the ones coming back from their vacations will be just as 'bad' and jump in without a pre season and is worrying me
what's Rio's situation? The back four are my main concern. Evra, Vidic, Rio are all not on this tour. In midfield Fletcher and Scholes as well as Giggs give us a good 3 man center of the pitch. I also like to see 3 upfront with no pre set positions. Nani yesterday was rather free, even though he attacked mostly from right. Obertan does the same. Diouf and even Berba drifted wide.

I would like to see a formation like the one below. See how that works out

Rooney-Hernandez
--------Berba--------
Giggs--Scholes--Fletcher
Evra---Rio--Vida---????

This is a very strong attacking line up
Take off Berba and Hernandez and put Nani and Valencia and you have a contra attacking side. Both should also be a part of the 4-4-2 with Rooney and Berba

Our midfield would get run over and there's no width at all. I can't see Wayne, Chicharito and Berbatov starting at the same time TBH.

True. The width needs to come from the fullbacks. Say, Evra and Neville. They may also be called wing/backs and for a reason. Something, btw Evra is excellent in. But generally, I agree- the chances to see those 3 together are minimum. Maybe if we are losing and we need an impact sub, much like the one time we had Tevez, Ronaldo, Rooney, Berba vs Spurs
 
We lost, I won.

Best day of my life. I found these Americans, also United fans, and did the chanting and drinking outside the stadium. Also found some other true United fans, which I didn't think was possible.

I can now say I saw Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, and Sir Alex Ferguson live.

I don't care we lost, it was too good to be true. I honestly didn't think Chivas would lose this game, not on the inauguration of the new venue, and Chicharito's goodbye, and all this chivas young players facing the best team on earth, it was like written in the stars against us.

I will post some pictures when I get back home.

I've been around the world with United and would have to say that where ever our lads play, you can be SURE to find a healthy handful of 'true United fans'.
