Well, I hope all Fletcher bashers have the decency to admit that Fletch had a tremendous game today. He was everywhere, tackling, passing, plugging up holes, even pushing his feather weight around, like when he bundled over Tugay (of all people) to pass on to Rooney which led to Saha's brilliant goal.

Well...?? Will you now admit that Fletcher's not all that bad a player???

Everyone's going over the top. It's always the way with Fletch...extreme views

He worked his socks off, as usual...was average at best in the first half, average at worst int he second

And Saha's goal was a fluke

who cares

just answer

It really is the wrong forum. Only the matchday threads go in this forum. It will end up being deleted. You should start it again in the United forum, but there's probably three already.

No it wasnt.

Fletcher was quality today.

I liked the 4-3-3 we played most of the game as well. I know everyone had a huge amount of time on the ball, but Richardson-Smith-Fletcher seemed to work.

He thought you'd be looking to buy a midfielder, but he didn't sound like he had any inside intelligence, or any intelligence.

Noodle's right. This thread's presence in this forum is an abomination.

well if we are going to base it on the merits of one game........yeah he was good.

While we're at it we'll go out and buy Crouch he scored two in the world club championship dont you know.

To that we'll add Diop and i heard that Kewell had a good game this season add him to the list.

In fact come on lads and lasses, lets get Miller back in, was box to box for leeds, oh and Bellion scored a penalty in France the other day. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET HIM BACK HERE!

I thought Fletcher played well tonight.

Agreed.

Take one match at a time. Fletcher should be able to improve.

Too much praise too soon, then the slagging starts again.

Good work rate, hardworking.

Fletcher still reminds me of a dog chasing a football. Yes he will sometimes get it and as with a dog it will sometimes do something useful with it but more often than not the dog runs its bollocks off not knowing where its going and ends up losing the ball.
