Gareth Bale is...The most expensive player ever?!

Playing really well. Scored two goals thus far. I suspect he'll get a hat-trick.

Really wanted Bale over the summer..He was the ultimate muppet wankfest dream...but at least we have the Albanian Assasin

It was to make it 3-0 also :D He's right really, cos if Bale had missed Ronaldo would've got bollocked for it. Incidentally it's 3-2 now so that penalty was important.

Doesn't really matter how much goals he scores. Still a waste of money. They sold the better player and they still wont win anything.

That comment is only equal to whoever it was said "I'll only believe Ronaldo will come back to United when he's signed for us and is scoring goals for fun".

2 assists. 1 goal, and then one that will probably go down as an own goal. Good home debut. In stretched games like this he's always going to run riot but it's in tight games he needs to find a way of making more subtle movements and his passing needs to be cleverer.

Who was it that said something along the lines of "even if we win 100-0 it's still the wrong lineup"? Your post reminds me of that!

It's nauseating how far Minto has lodged his tongue up Bale's arsehole.

I like Minto. It's most probably orders from the hierarchy to plug Bale, similar to the Suarez love in by the Premiership commentators. Sky love the drama and what better way to generate it than worship the world's most expensive player.

No different to how his predecessor Mark Bolton had his up Messi's. I honestly think that he knew he needed to change because he was infatuated with Messi.

Yeah Minto's been a breath of fresh air, but I'm not sure whether Sky have upped the hype demands on their staff or whether I'm just getting older and grumpier.

Quite liked Bolton as well, but thought it was a bit rich when he complained about having to toe Sky's party line when he was the first presenter to usher in the new cock-sucking era following Beckham's signing. David Bobin was the perfect, under-stated, call-it-as-you-see-it host during Sky's early forays into Spanish football.

Goal.com's "Top Story" is this:

Ronaldo lets Bale take Free Kick

Wilshere is a poser, he's not hard at all.

Is there a hardness rankings anywhere for quick reference? Obviously Wilshere isn't hard but what about Ozil? On one hand, you've got this video of him rapping (http://www.video.az/en/video/58018/mesut-ozil-rap), which suggests he is very soft. But I feel like he must have a couple tricks up his sleeve. He is an ethnic minority and he is a skinny little feck so you would think he got beat up a lot as a child. But then maybe he kept a couple of knives on him at all times and used his crazy eyes to freak people out. He's a really tough one to call.

I'm not really an expert on which footballers are hard so you can answer which of these is harder?

Richado Quaresma or Jay-Jay Okachka?
Jose Manuel Pinto or Alexander Pato?
Koke or Fernando Hierro?
Shane Long or Granit Xhaka?

Cheers.

:lol Good Gött!
