Must win and finally a game on a Sunday and on TV.

442 and wingers and a midfield pairing of Fletch and Giggs. That's all i ask for.

Rooney Berba

No messing about ffs.

-----------------PIG-------------------
Rafael------Brown----Vidic---------Evra
Valencia---Fletcher---Giggs-----Obertan
----------Rooney----Berbatov----------

Win, please.

It's just fecking depressing really. No enthusiasm for the game at the moment. Hopefully our shambles of an injury crisis can ease before then.

I should have made this thread and you all know it. Another loss to keep up my record.

any sort of a win will do for me, please we need it desperately......

Delaet------Vida------Carrick-----Evra

Valencia---Fletcher----Anderson--Giggs

-----------Berba------Rooney---------

---------Rooney-Berbatov---------

Subs: Kuszczak, J. Evans, Neville, Scholes, Carrick, Giggs, Owen

It was mind games, if we ignore it, it will go away ... Fingers crossed.

It's not good when you're playing Hull and wondering if you can get a win.

We'll win this. The fixtures we've dropped points in so far have been markedly difficult fixtures for all clubs.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Fulham and the Burnley graveyard away. In-form Villa at home. OK a draw against Sunderland at home was a very poor result, but they were also bang in form at the time.

It's not ideal but there's no great shame in the points we've dropped so far. If we start dropping points to teams like Hull we can really start to worry. However, once this injury crisis abates we'll be a new team.

Prediction:1-2 win for us. Rooney, Vidic

in all my life supporting United, I've never seen a defence destroyed by injuries like this one.

If we don't get our regular defenders back soon, forget the title, we will be lucky to be in the top 4.

Having said that, for the lads that played in defence, respect.

I felt in yesterday's match, if not for the Scholes 'gift', we may have held on for a 1-0 win.

You cannot be chasing the match with a patchwork defence.

Is Giggs going to be back for this one? not sure what happened to him yesterday as far as i heard all the talk before the game was he was fit to play?

he was rested, i think its too much to ask giggsy playing 3 games in 7 days....

4 point gap. Get in. That's brilliant considering the week we've had. Whatever you say, Chelsea have missed a trick big time over the last four matches.

Kuszczak

Neville
Brown
Vidic
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Fletcher
Giggs

Rooney
Berbatov

SUBS: Foster, Rafael, Fabio, Park, Anderson, Scholes, Owen.

Back to near full-strength if we're lucky and this is when one of our 'infamous' runs really needs to get going.

Would Edwin be back for this too?

That would be the ideal team but im not sure if both wes and Gary will be back..fergie said 10 days for wes in his friday press conferance which would make him touch and go for this one where as gaz is the dreaded "week or two away"...:nervous:...Vidic should be back which is something.

In actuality it has been United who have missed out just as much, probably more considering they are teh team doing the chasing

I agree with this one. If Vidic is not fit, replace him with Carrick and bring in Anderson. Also, Rafael might be fit by then, in that case I would prefer him to Fabio because he has a little more experience.

Isn't Neville back for this one, I'd put him there before Carrick. Brown is a bit dodgey but a Vidic-Neville combo is good for Hull, if he's not as close to fitness as Neville he could be on the bench.

I'd go for

Kuszczak
Fabio
Neville/Brown
Vidic
Evra
Nani
Carrick
Fletcher
Valencia
Rooney
Berbatov

Subs:
Foster
Neville/Brown
De Laet
Scholes

Rafael and Fabio will be back to boost United's depleted defence against Hull on Sunday, Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed at Thursday's press conference.

Rafael has been sidelined since the home defeat to Besiktas last month with a foot injury, while Fabio returned from the bench at Fulham last week. Both are set to be thrust into action at the KC Stadium to bolster a threadbare backline.

Sir Alex also confirmed Wes Brown and Nemanja Vidic should both be available for the home game against Wigan on 30 December, and that the Reds' medical team are working to get one of the centre-backs fit for this weekend.

Let's say now:

Kuszczak, Rafael, Carrick, Brown/Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Fletcher, Anderson, Giggs, Rooney, Berbatov.

SUBS: Foster, Fabio, Scholes, Gibson, Park, Obertan, Owen.

Arrrrrrrrr! so frustrating hearing this...how does Vidic go from being expected to play last saturday to what appears now no more than a 50/50 chance to make it this weekend 8 days later? our medical team really get on me tits sometimes!.....anyway atleast their both close to a return which is the main thing will be very concerned if neither make it for the hull game though..:nervous:

Is it confirmed Giggs is fit for this one? He's been our biggest miss imo.

ManUtd.com said Raffy and Fabby are back.
