Really mixed feeling about tonight, I really think on the balance of play we should have at least scored once! But a 0-0 away isnt the end of the world, going by how composed our back four looked with 2 half fit players imagine it at OT with the crowd behind our backs and Vidic shoring up our defence.
Doesn't matter, as it's not like I'm going to get any for the next decade or so.

would have taken this before kick off. now that i have seen how much we dominated a bit dissapointed and confident over the prospects of doing them at OT.. i wont be able to stand the sight of that cnut running down the touchline again...
being dramatic there BR...we will beat these lot sure enough...I'm just mad we did not take our chances today...Fergie was quite cautious today...well cant blame him being away at Inter...but we got the measure of them today....we really should not just beat them, but win the trophy...thats how confident I am.

Only bad things happen when you fail to get away goals. Hopefully we get two or three up by HT but knowing United they we will make us sweat.

I would be more worried but against both Porto and Barca i was never convinced that we could keep them out because in the first leg both showed enough that they may break our defence. However, tonight Inter didnt really give many major concerns and when you consider Neville/Rafeal and Vidic could be introduced in 2 weeks time you can only say that our defence will be more on its gameI just had a feeling we'd turn up but even that surprised me.
Our defence had its moments but played well. A major plus being at the San Siro. Ferguson is bang on about that maturity, a few years ago this wouldn't have been the case.

We just have to win a game of football at OT. Hardly an unusual event. So what's the problem?
Excellent performance overall, we especially battered them in the 1st half and I'm quite disappointed we didn't get the away goal we richly deserved. Going on that performance tonight, I'm very confident we can get the win at OT. Of course nothing is set in stone, but if we play the way we did and we'll have Vidic back, I'm very hopeful we can do it
