Why would you dive in a friendly? Honestly the kid does himself no favours with that.Yeah Delph bit of a weird selection. Had a good season doing a very specific job which is I would imagine vastly different from what Southgate wants in his WBs.
Guess it probably came down to Young vs Bertrand and Shaw(really far outside chance). Is there any other semi decent English LB’s/LWBs I’ve forgotten about?
Also, while I think sterling is currently a better player than rashford when played in his best position, in that second striker role, Rashford would be more effective than sterling.
