They've played bad since the clinched the top 6. They still needed to clinch it. Otherwise they would have nothing to play for next season. That's their motivation.
You get into the top 6 for Europe that is the only thing to play for they won't be in Europe next year plus the club is in turmoil no surprise they have lost hunger.

Costa was slightly unlucky to give away the penalty, but the defending on the bicycle was nowhere near good enough. How someone of Albelda's experience can allow him that amount of space
