La Liga 2013-2014

I didn't realise it was possible to hate a player who never plays so much.

What did those gestures even mean?

Messi could run through the entire opposition and score 10 times a game if he really wanted to, I'm convinced of it.

Navarro not feeling too generous in defeat - harsh interviewing him pitchside like that, that "robbed" might get him a disciplinary hearing.

Villarreal continuing with their impressive start to the season. Twice very close to scoring.

Good start from Villarreal here. They're clearly up for trying to win it and look threatening at the moment.

Villareal need to take their chances, because Real will turn this around once they settle in the game.

Real look dangerous on the break too..

Villareal look brilliant. Great to see them back in La Liga.

For someone who I'd barely heard of twelve months ago, Lopez is proving to be one of the best goalkeepers in the business. Every time I see him he's had a blinder.

I complain about our defending sometimes, but honestly look at Real and Barca. They haven't a clue about the basics.

It's all well and good if Bale has a good game tonight but can he do it on a mild, clear and still night at the Nou Camp?

So what's the deal with Casillas then? I'm sure he thought his days on the bench were over after Mourinho left
