Yeh thats the team I wanna see at the weekend and with Leeds dodgy defence Van nisterooy should get his hat-trick hopefully. ;) ;)

HUNDREDS of tickets for Manchester United's visit to Elland Road on October 18th are being sold on the black market.

The Sunday Mirror states that Leeds blundered by putting tickets for the game on open sale.

Fans were allowed to buy up to eight tickets with no questions asked.

That was after Leeds had cut United's official allocation to just 1,600 because of fears of crowd trouble.

Leeds gave official club members the option to buy tickets for the game but limited the number sold to one per person.

They then put the rest on open sale and hundreds were immediately snapped up by touts and Man United fans who missed out on the Old Trafford ballot for tickets for the visitors' enclosure.

When Leeds realised their mistake, they stopped selling the tickets on open sale.

The article states a Leeds insider said: "It is well known that tickets for parts of Elland Road reserved for home supporters have got into the hands of United (Manchester) fans."

Leeds will be fired up after beating Blackburn.

We should score goals against this Leeds defence.

Again we have to pick one from Fortune, Djemba, Butt and Phil to partner Keane. We really are covered in that area.

Not convinced whether to start with Ronaldo or Fletch. Ronaldo could terrorise Leeds so he should get the nod.

So marching, what will happen with the tickets? Will they enact an Istanbul-type operation? Have there ever been a problem between Utd and Leeds fans clashing in the same part of the ground?

There is not a lot anyone can do to prevent home tickets getting in the hands of away fans and over the years there have been incidents with MU fans sitting in Leeds areas.

I had thought the Leeds hooligan problem had died down a bit but I recently learnt I was wrong.

The main Leeds hooligan firm is still the Service Crew and they have now even got a Youth Wing which is alarming.

So, any decent MU fans out there take care if you are going to either of the Leeds games as I expect there to be trouble.

To any not so decent MU fans you, and the Leeds hooligans, deserve each other.

Prediction - Leeds 0 MU 3

Bit pessimistic I think Marching. 1-2 I reckon.

:wenger:

Two questions mate....

1. Have you seen Leeds defend?

2. Have you seen how good RvN & Scholes are?

;)

Last year you lot beat us and almost nicked a pointed from OT. It won't be that easy.

It will be interesting to see how Rio comes through this game.

This will be a wall in the park for you lot...If I were you...i'd be dissapointed if you don't score more than 3 goals.

Phil has been great this season and should be fresh as he didn't play for England. So I can't see any reason not to play him.

I feel a bit sorry for Butt but TBH Phil is the better player today. Butt really hasn't been anywhere near his best since his injury last season whereas Phil just gets better and better.

And I've got a feeling that Fortune will be LB once again, with either O'Shea or Neville rested.

As for offensive midfield I'd go for Fletcher rather than Ronaldo. Fletcher should have great confidence after scoring for Scotland. And I also have a feeling Ronaldo could have fun against Rangers. Both being young none of them should start both matches anyway.

0:1 would do just fine, and can it please be Ronaldo or Fletch :)

I would go with

----------------Howard-----------------
G.Neville------Rio-----Silvestre----O'Shea
-------------Keane----Butt--------------
----Fletcher----Scholes------Giggs------
--------------V.Nistelrooy---------------

djemba coming on for butt, roni for fletch.

Put Phil instead of Butt and you've got my lineup.

O'Sheas looking a little un-fit as of late, Quinton, imo anyway, has looked excellent since he got his new contract, and totally deserves his place in the team :).

Id go

----------------Howard-------------------
G.Neville----Rio-----Mickey--Fortune-----
-----------Keane---Pip-------------------
--Ronaldo---Scholes---Giggs--------------
-------------RvN-------------------------

I wont be so long as we win. Hate overconfident attitudes so I won't be taking this game lightly - you'll be fired up.

Better yet, 2-0 with both of them scoring.

I'd go:

----------------Howard-----------------
-G.Neville-----Rio----Silvestre----O'Shea-
------------Keane------Phil-------------
----Fletcher----Scholes------Giggs------
--------------V.Nistelrooy---------------

With Ronaldo coming on for Fletch (or Giggsy if we're winning comfortably).

I love Sheasy but I'm inclined to agree, though I thought Quinton was a bit out of his depth against the Arse. I thought Sheasy was doing OK, but I saw the corresponding Arse match from last season for the first time on MUTV the other day, and he was a different player, SO fvcking good, he's a bit off the pace this season and has been since pre-.

BTW Van, as I say i saw that match for the first time, after hearing everyone go on about how good Seba was in it...Phil was immense, but Seba? I mean he had a good game but he hardly set the place alight :nervous:

I expect Leeds to be fired up of course, and they may even have a go for a while. Once the pressure starts from Keane and Scholes, Leeds will be on the back foot and with Ruud up front, somethings gotta give. I don't see Leeds bothering our defence much. The biggest threat you have are your supporters giving Rio a hard time. Smith will drop deep and get smothered. I fancy Ruud and Scholesy to notch up one or two apiece, but its the three points that count.

If its a fiery one, Leeds will have to be careful, United don't rise to that shit anymore, so they'll be doing well to restrain themselves if it gets niggly. Who's the ref?

I think Smith is going to get sent off.

Leeds 0-4 United ;)
